Some of the points raised are true - e.g. Gurdwara violence and dodgy finances. The stuff about militancy was ridiculous though.

I'm surprised that the Gurdwaras implicated haven't said anything.

(Is it me or was it different to last week's edition?)

I agree. It's Gurdwara politics, let them be. But linking dodgy finances to 'militant' funding is OTT. Who says it can't just be corruption? People stealing the money etc. It happens at our Gurdwara unfortunately.

They were merely linking Gurdwara politics to terrorism for the majority of the 40mins it was on for. Complete non-story.

You should start getting some reponse from BBC.

Thank you for your e-mail.

This is an update to let you know that we are dealing with your recent complaint but are waiting to clarify some points with other colleagues in the BBC before we reply more fully to you.

We will of course respond as soon as possible but trust you will understand that the time taken can also depend on the nature and number of the other complaints we are currently investigating. The BBC also issues public responses to issues which prompt large numbers of significant complaints and these can be read on our website at:

www.bbc.co.uk/complaints.

We would like to reassure you that your complaint has already been logged and circulated in our daily report to BBC managers. We would therefore be grateful if you would not reply to this email and, in the meantime, would like to thank you for contacting the BBC with details of your concerns.

Thank you again for contacting the BBC.

Regards

A PROTEST WILL ONLY GIVE THE PROGRAM MORE PUBLICITY. MOST PEOPLE DIDNT EVEN LISTEN TO IT. A PROTEST WILL ONLY MAKE IT MORE PUBLIC.

100% correct. Hopefully the Sangat will think with their heads and don't get mislead into the few glory seekers who no doubt are plotting a placard protest as we speak. There is an articulate written demonstration required here in order to counter the assumption that the Sikh political voice is incoherent, mumbled, weak and non-existent.
