Please can you advice! Sehaj Path is done. I'm waiting to go to the Gurdwara and do Bhog there as someone suggested I should do Bhog in the Gurdwara Sahib. Shall I carry on doing Parkash/sukhasan?

However, to relegate this legacy to a 1:1 comparisons of a specific human attribute (in this case, gender) to then claim that the human Gurus were “subservient to that attribute” is a misnomer. As mentioned above, Sikh literature doesn’t ambiguate as regards to the gender of the physical form the Gurus took upon this Earth; in fact, Juptej implicitly acknowledges this with the translation “the Baba (respecte…

What are missionaries? are they sant samajis? are they freelance and independent parchariks not affiliated with any puratan sampardayi/panthic organzation? are there any good missionaries? I have mostly heard bad stuff about these guys and they are usually a negative connotation. was singh sabha missionary? was bapu teja singh bhausaria the first missionary or so (was he one)? are most missionaries basically shankadharis and faithless folks like baljeet dehli, harjinder uk, neki (more of a commentator), dhadhrI? waheguru jio

Can someone help me find out where these swaiye are in sri dasam granth, found a interesting article quoting and claiming bhai daya singh ji pyares rehitnama to refer to these along with sravag shabad, dinan ki pritpal, etc. Most of these commonly recited swaiye are present in sri akaal ustat so if anyone can find these two before, please provide feedback on this forum waheguru jio.

A Glossary of the Tribes and Castes of the Punjab and North-West Frontier Province by Horace Arthur Rose in 1911, is a great little skim through to read. He mentions quite a bit about Sikhs and even dives into the caste dynamic in these regions.

What granths have been kept by certain groups of people throughout history? I think Dasam granth was kept gupt from the English to an extent during colonial rule and I have heard of Sau Sakhi (the real one not the adulterated one) being kept gupt with certain sampardas. I also think that all of Sarabloh granth was kept gupt for a long time by the nihangs. What other gupt granths do we know or have heard mentions of?
