It is next to Southall has probably the 3rd largest sangat attendance in UK. The sangat in Slough has always been peaceful and Panthik. Many leaders called Singh Sabha Slough, the "Hyde Park Corner" of UK Gurdwaras. The key to the unity and peace in slough was the Gurdwara never had any elections in it 10-15,000 sikh community. WJKK WJKF Although this movie like others has a lot of Christianity and Bible, I found the idea of Heaven, Humans, and Hell all being on the same place but in different dimensions if u will to be very interesting. I've always beleived this to be the way. That hell and heaven are all here, we just cant see them, they go on their way and we go on ours. Any comments on the movie? If you havnt seen it watch it, You may not like the movie but some of the concepts seem to be very interesting, One such concept is that neither Evil (demons) or Good (angels) can make any human do anything ( or are not allowed to ) however, they can "whisper" in their ear and try to influence them…

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! In May there was a cultural program for Vasakhi at the Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton. One of the guys that was organizing it asked a bunch of us youth (fifteen and under) from the Gurudwara to present something religious at the show. We did Deh Shiva and spoke about what Visakhi meant to Sikhs. Above the stage are 5 pictures side by side, one of Sri Harmandir Sahib, one of Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji, one of Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji, one of a Gursikh and his two sons all in bana, and the last picture of some chick all decked out in gold earings and bright red lipstick. During the show, for atleast six hours!!, ther…

Hi, nice forum :TH: Haven't got anything of my own to post yet, but take a look at the following article, written by an american woman Gursikh, its about the need and advantage for Sikhs to run their own companies. Anyway please READ!! There's a saying among some of us in Sikh Dharma. "We're what cool wants to be." A group of us walking down the street causes every head to turn with curiosity, suprise and delight. Have you ever seen a …

What are the thoughts of the sangat on these two? From what Ive read, Kala has written some very anti-pantic, and anti-rehat books. Strange that Gurtej Singh would back him, seeing the way he promotes pristine Sikhism. Somebody please shed light on this.
