Satguru Sache Patshah Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji de Charana Da Dhiaaan Dhar ke, Sadh Sangat Gaj ke Balao.... Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa!! Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!! Khalsa ji, as you probably know i was told about a certain issue, to go and do Simran and the issue will clear. Khalsa ji, simran did not clear that issue. But i ask the Sri Sadh Sangat Sahib, if it were simple to clear any issue with Simran, then Khalsa Ji, when Sri Harmandir Sahib (Sifti da Ghar) was built, why was there a need for Sri Akal Takhat Sahib? Did Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji Maharaj not think of doing simran and clearing the issue?? Or did Satguru just have building materials left over from Sri Harmandir…

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh Well this is quiet a awkward subject to dicuss, or RESOLVE. We alll hear about "Sikh" girls dating non - Sikhs, espicially here in the UK in London and surrounding areas its a big problem. I think that its up to the girls if they want to date someone who is non - Sikh but should deal with the consequences themselves aswell. There are many stories of areas like london, southall, slough. Where "Sikh" girls have dated non - Sikhs and have been said to be deeply in love with thier non - Sikh boy friends/husbands (who are mostly pakistani muslims) and then tricked into being taken to pakistan and sold as whores  I overhe…

Todays Toronto Star India's Punjab is at peace Northern Indian province was once beset by violence Today, the only shooting is of Bollywood films MARTIN REGG COHN ASIA BUREAU AMRITSAR, India—Sikh devotees prostrate themselves to kiss the threshold of the Golden Temple, the holiest site for the faithful. Religious hymns waft across the sunbaked courtyard as pilgrims circumambulate, barefoot, along its searing marble tiles. Turbaned worshippers bathe in the pool of immortality, an artificial lake engulfing the gold-plated spires of the sanctum sanctorum. This is the centre of enduring Sikh spirituality — tranquil, dignified, devout. This was the epicentre, two deca…

Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Jee Ki Fateh In JapJi Sahib, it says.... "The state of the faithful cannot be described." We all believe there is Guru and IkOnkar, but do we have complete faith in all the teachings? Do we have complete 100% faith, or is it that we give 80% faith to the Guru, and the rest 20% faith to the ego and desires? Wouldnt we consciously die if we gave the remaining 20% faith to the Guru? What are your thoughts on this? I believe the step of faith is the only step we need to take to become one with Waheguru. Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Jee Ki Fateh

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Sangat Ji, I feet sadden to see this "item" being sold on EBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...7310731229&rd=1 Our history is being sold on Auction Site, does anyone know whether any Gurdwara, Sikh Museum will be able to purchase our history? The Sikh Community deserves to have these historical manuscripts rather than institutes like the British Library or some collector who will add to his/her personal collection. GurFateh!

Police say 42-year-old Gurdeet Salujah died Monday night while working at a gas station. Police say they hope the video will help them find the suspects. The owner of the store says Salujah was the only clerk on duty at the time of the robbery. Salujah's cousin found his body after Salujah's wife couldn't get a hold of her husband.

So I've heard alot of people sayign this shouldn't be allowed at weddings and this and that are wrong, rituals, etc etc. So my question is, what SHOULD a Sikh wedding be? What types of things go on? How is it performed? What do the bride and groom wear? I heard the bride can't wear red on her wedding so what does she wear? :TH: Oh and also, if we can't wear red, is maroon ok ? Some people say, when the bride enters her husband's home for the first time, she has to put her hand prints on the wall  ?? The mother-in-law puts oil at the doorstep <_< ?? Sisters of groom put kalgi on the groom and before he reaches Gurudwara he takes it off ?? (Y…

i was just reading an article about reconstructive plastic sugery for people who have suffered in accidents etc..http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,8123-1536904,00.html sikhi tends to encourage the maintenance of what is natural.... so what would are the differnt 'sikh' views on reconstructive (not cosmetic) plastic surgery?... 1) maybe God chose for the accident to happen and therefore the victim should bear the result and not try to return to their former image bcos the change in theie appearance was due to guru's hukum? 2) the accident means the person has lost e.g. their natural face (or any other body part), ie the one they were born with, and therefore pla…
