As we all know that sikhs in la got into force CAUZ of only ONE person who stood with us.. He is the sheriff !! So i was thinking wouldn't it be nice if somehow the global sikh cyber sangat send him good wishes and congrats him for upholding the practices of sikh faith?? It will be a good gesture after all he took the bold step and by his step most likely NY ppls allowed two former sikh employees.. So what you guys think?? Give a respect to the person who deserve??

Vaheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!! (i know i posted this in the events section but there's only a few days left and we would like as much sangat as possible, for at least the first few programs) For any sangat in Vancouver, there are weekly keertan programs every friday in memory of Rena Kaur, Parminder Singh, and Charanjit Singh jee. They are held at Amrit Parkaash Gurdwara in Surrey at the corner of 123 A and 80th ave. The programs are fairly short, consisting of simran and keertan for about 1 1/2 hours from about 7:30 - 9:00 pm. If the sangat wishes, programs can be made longer and something other than kirtan can also be done. The programs are very s…

I came across a katha where the bhai ji mentioned that if u wannu get rid all ur 'dukhs' then put water in a glass and do pathh of Dukhbhanjni sahib and then drink it afterwards. This process will cure all ur diseases. Is this GURMAT or MANMATT?? He also told to do the pathh for 5 days or something to see the real effect. I am not sure about it whether its true or not.I am fully convinced that bani has a lot of power. But I think gurmat doesn't teach us to use bani like this . Also, it seems to be the same thing which AKAL TAKHAT banned.......if u remember people use to receite japji sahib during the whole akandPathh sahib which is total manmat and banned by akal takhat.A…

Vahiguru ji ka khalsa, Vahiguru ji ki fateh! Sadh Sangat Jio, The 'Where were the nihungs in 1984?' thread (http://forums.waheguroo.com/index.ppa?act=ST&f=14&t=1018) has just been closed. In one sense this is positive because the debate had indeed developed away from the initial issue which was regarding the presence/absence of 'nihungs' during the dark days of 1984. Sadly, not much worthwhile and insightful discussion was generated although it did give a glimpse into a very controversial issue...and the lack of adequate responses. However, i think it is quite sad that a major opportunity was missed on this forum - that is a chance for the 'uk nihungs' (as th…
