Veteran day is our Day tooo.. We should remember those who gave away everything for our future ! Today in the Kohima cemetery, among the 1,378 grave markers, is the famous Kohima memorial with its historic inscription: "When you go home tell them of us, and say, for your tomorrow, we gave our today." Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Sangat Jeeo, I've noticed that a lot of gurdwara especially during akhand paaths use a lamp using ghee. I heard that they use it in case of any power breaks but is it an essential? Nowadays you can get battery powered lights which probably are more efficient in providing light for the paathi singhs. Another thing is that the jot is wrecking the paint job above it on the ceiling at the gurdwara i go to. They always use it but they keep it like 3-6 metres away from Guru Sahib. Whats the point? You can even get emergency lights installed which charge when electricity is working and automatically switch on during power sur…

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
