Is there such a sin which Waheguru does not forgive? 1 2

I heard that there are some sins which cant be forgiven such as these people who went to gurdwara to do wrong on Guru Granth Sahib Ji *waheguru waheguru*. Or also adultery, where the person will live 1000 days of hell. But is this true? I cant understand of course the first thing. Someone who does this should rot in hell. But what about someone does a mistake, because they are so attached to one person? Are there really sins which cant be forgiven? I thought Waheguru forgives everyone who chooses the path oh Waheguru Ji. And how does Waheguru forgive?

Help with kaam and faith

WJKK, WJKF I am a moorakh for falling into kaam and I have dug myself into a pit of faithlessness. This started a few months ago where I tried no fap and it somehow turned into a search for proof of god. I couldn’t find any proofs and should have known there is none because waheguru never lets his hand be shown to people who don’t look for it. I almost became atheist before realizing that calling the gurus mentally Ill or liars , the same jot that sacrificed their 4 sahibzade, sent their father to dehli to protect someone else’s dharam, the same jot whose institutions started in their first form still feed thousands every day, is so bleak. I try to let go of kaam but…

Should I send my non-Sikh nephew to a Sikh boarding school?

I live in Canada, but I am not a Sikh. I was wondering if it is a good to allow my 9-year-old nephew Dylan to go to a Sikh boarding school called the Gursikh Academy Bahadurgarh which is located in Patiala India? The reason for this is because his best friend Bhupinder Singh is attending this school and he misses my nephew. Bhupinder’s parents asked if I could send my nephew to this school to join his friend Bhupinder and they offered to pay my nephew’s plane ticket and tuition if he goes. But my problem is that this particular Sikh boarding school is very strict that requires all students regardless of background to follow the Sikh code of conduct and abstain from cuttin…

Afghan eyewitness account of Baba Deep Singh Ji
by Guest DumbIdiotBanda- 6 replies

VJKK VJKF I heard there was an eyewitness account of Baba Deep Singh Ji slaying papis from an afghan soldier complaining to his king that we can kill the Singhs that are alive, but not those who are dead. The name attributed to this work is "Tehmas Khan". Does anyone know what language that book is in? Does it even exist? Where could I find a copy? It seems a little suspicious that an afghan would record an event like this. Thanks.

Question about Jaap Sahib
by Guest DumbIdiotBanda- 2 replies
- 1.2k views
VJKK VJKF I was listening to Jaap Sahib and I came across the quote in the picture down below? I don’t know where it goes when I post lol. Anyway it states that creation is permanent. What happens to creation after it is all absorbed back into Vaheguru? Also in Jaap sahib there was a quote about Vaheguru ji not having any friends and then later on it said Vaheguru is the best of friends. Is this a translation error like on most sites on the internet? Or maybe it is stating that Waheguru has no associates and it was translated into friends. Could you guys help me figure this out? thanks.

VJKK VJKF I have recently started back my attempts at walking sant da marag after a brief run in with atheism. I was wondering if there is any special technique to simran or if what I was doing was what most sikhs use. Also, is focusing on chakras gurmat? Do chakras even exist in gurmat? How can I enter a state of samadhi? Thanks.

Which maryada for preparing Amrit is the one guru sahib used?

VJKK VJKF Sorry I am not trying to cause any fights but I have a question. I’m not much of a jathebandi guy because high avastha gursikhs are in every jathebandi, but a question popped into my mind. What maryada of preparing Amrit is the one Sahib Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji used? I understand that Sant Jarnail Singh Ji approved of the SGPC rehit maryada, but here’s my problem. Taksali Maryada states that a Shri Sahib has to be kept of the edge of the batta while stirring the Amrit with a khanda in the right hand, and these two are to be passed with the Shri sahib remaining at the edge and the khanda remaining in the Amrit.. SGPC only mentions a khanda being use…

Would you ever date a non religious person? I am not speaking about an atheist, but more so someone who is not very religious. Let’s say they let you stay close to your religion & culture and are ok with passing down your culture/values to future children. Do you think that’s ok? I think I’ve met the perfect person however he’s not very religious. He belongs to a different culture however our cultures are similar and compatible. All of my values line up and they are extremely respectful.

How Do Indian Sikhs Feel About White Americans Wearing The Turban? 1 2
by Guest Guest- 12 replies

WGJKK WGJKF Hello, I am coming here for honest opinions. I feel the members of my gurdwara would feel uncomfortable speaking openly about this subject, and I don't wish to make them uncomfortable as I haven't been studying long. I am a 25 year old white American who is very interested in Sikhi. I have only recently begun my path of discovery, and would want to spend an absolute minimum of one year (probably longer) meditating, reading gurbani, doing seva, and properly understanding Sikh philosophy before concerning myself with the five K's. However, I do feel I will eventually get to the point of sufficient devotion to feel comfortable identifying myself as Sikh, and …

I dont want to do this anymore
by Guest faseyahoya- 4 replies

So I am 16 and was blessed with khande di pauhl exactly 1.5 months ago at anandpur sahib. Before that, I practiced everything a khalsa would do. nitnem, chastity, naam abhyas, etc. I have a pretty good image in public and people. Before, i felt like guru is very much near me, but now I feel like i am being seperated from him. I still do nitnem but i really want to defeat kaam and other evils. I read other threads but I feel like this is the only option left. I quit social media for 6 months but now my manmukh mind is back at it. I have committed no kurehit. Please tell me my amrit is not broken.
