Gadar 2
by Guest Guest- 0 replies

Sunny Deol is preparing to release Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, a sequence to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha 2001. This Bollywood film will do a lot of harm to Sikhs. The story is about a Sikh who falls in love with a Muslim girl, belonging to an aristocratic family and enters Pakistan illegally at the border. If Bollywood continues making such films then Pakistanis in return make films showing a Muslim hero and a Sikh girl (Larki Punjaban 2003). We should not support Bollywood films and actors that use Sikh character to project their anti-Muslim/anti-Pakistani views and then have Pakistanis make movies showing a Sikh girl-Muslim boy in return.

Are we ignorantly ignoring, what the shaheed singh said to bhai rama singh ji? and Khalsa Raj 1 2 3
by Guest singh- 24 replies

the shaheed singh told Bhai Rama Singh Ji that the khalsa of today is not the true khalsa and that the next generation (i assume from the year 2000+?), will be the true khalsa, he also said that there is a "dark cloud" over punjab and that the harvest of sin will be first reaped by Punjab then by india. he also said that the whole country will suffer as a result of the cruelty of amritsar If you guys look at punjab now, it is slowly getting worse, other states are taking water and many many more other things are happening, so why complain, wait untill punjab has harvested the sins and then wait a little longer for india to harvest the sins as well (they want…

Depression 1 2

I've been debating whether to post this, i saw nothing about it posted so i though I'd share. On Thursday evening there was a post on Twitter (to begin with) about a young Singh who had gone missing, he left a lengthy note on an Instagram post, it was pretty intense reading as it turned out he's been suffering from depression for a number of years and not told anyone, i followed it through the evening as more and more people started looking from him, i did Ardaas before going to bed that he would be found and that he would find help in whatever he was going through, I thought, like the majority of these cases I'd wake up and he would have been found. Into the mo…

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if anyone else has mental illnesses or issues but I’m diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety. I think I have BPD too to an extent but never got that tested. Anyway does anyone else have any mental health problems. Don’t you feel that the Sikh community literally does not care at all if you’re struggling mentally and instead hide it or look down on you or pretend you don’t exist? For example a lot of Punjabi parents will straight up deny the existence of depression. I think this isn’t good because it octracises like 5% of our population…

The Jagmeet Singh thread 1 2 3 4
by Guest Jagsaw_Singh- 38 replies

OK, so I started a thread on this Gupt / Anonymous page: the 'Amritdharis marrying hair-cut spouses' thread. It's received 5000 odd views, people on other websites and online forums have been discussing it and there's like a hundred questions directed directly at me on that thread. But....the admin here had decided to move it to the main page where I can't answer any of the questions you keep throwing at me So, first of all, please stop asking me questions on that thread....I can't answer them on that page. Secondly, someone accused me of using profanities after observing the censored title thread. Let me clear that one up by saying I do not use profanities in my life an…

Hey guys I would like to know if we are allowed to do paath standing up. i.e sukhmani sahib, sehaj paath etc. My legs get very tired after sitting for an hour and I can bearly make it to 1 hour 30 min. Ik practise will allow me to sit down for more than 4 hours but, that is physicaly damaging. So are we allowed to do paath while standing?

Thinking of taking up cycling I haven't cycled in years but there are some nice places with nice scenery nearby and though I love walking/hiking, it can be a bit far for a walker. Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent bike. I am not interested in those racing cycles. If anyone in the UK can attest to , those goreh love their racing cycles dressed up in their lycra and during the summer and the weekends, these cyclists are riding in troops and hog up the roads which can be annoying. Are there any keen cyclists on the forum? I used to enjoy cycling as a kid

As I'm banned, much of what I've said before, say now and will say in the future, gets lost or ignored in the guest Gupt section. But, those of you that have taken the time to read some of my earlier messages here will recall 2 things I've said which tie up nicely to the point of this thread. Firstly, you may recall how a Canadian Sikh made a thread a while ago on the main page in which he asked if the 'Sikhs converting to Muslim probem' really was as bad as the UK Sikhs on this forum make out. As I couldn't reply directly to that thread I wrote a reply on this Gupt section in which I articulated that the answer was 'no'. I stated that the UK muslim conversion problem was…

So....UK Sikhs. We're a peculiar bunch arne't we ? An unusual bunch in fact. When we go back to Punjab we meet Canadian, American and Australian Sikhs back in the village and the first thing we notice is how proud they are of being Canadian, American and Australian. They proudly display their national flags on their houses, vehicles and clothing and have integrated so well into their home countries that they have reached the very top of society. The Canadian Sikhs especially have adapted so well to that famous American / British hybrid sense of humour that they have reached the very top of that profession too. And then....sadly....there is the UK Sikhs. A very unusual bu…
