   I've recently begun question my faith in Sikhi. I cannot think straight since having these doubts. We believe that god created the Universe and Earth and that he is everywhere. We also believe in reincarnation and that the soul is reborn many times until it is liberated. Why did it take so long for humans to arrive on Earth if we are the highest life form? What was the point of the dinosaurs etc. Did our souls live as dinosaurs? That was hundreds of millions of years ago, was the soul going through all of those life forms until we became humans? Who is to say that we won't further evolve into a higher being? When did humans first start to think of god? I'm sure the f…

   Should we be celebrating the new year after the saheedian of the shahibizade, or is this just typical of us in this day and age and do we have short memories. Some will let of fireworks maybe even in some Gurdwaras, also would the sikhs of that time (during / after the saheedian) celebrated a new year straight after ? (which does not fall at the same time in indian calendar). Personally it should be time of sitting in the presence of SGGS ji, reflecting on the past, thanking Guru ji asking for peace in the world in a quite and dignified but not sombre manner, listening to katha and kirtan, but no fireworks or frantically shaking hands, hugging and patting on the back at…

    I recently have been to a wedding at a Gudwara and was amazed to see so many Sikh women wearing the wrong type of clothing inside the Gudwara. I saw many women wearing low cut tops, sleeveless suits, sarees suits, low cut suits on the back, tight trouser suits and also when sitting in front of the Gurugranth Sahib their heads were not covered or half covered. I very much thought this to be extremely derogatory and a huge lack of respect to our Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Its not a fashion show to go to the gurdwara!!     wjkk wjkf, i am a 16 yeard old guy, i dont know how to take care of my beard. i am an amritdhari singh. i am the only one at my house who keeps a khula dhara. and i need some ways to take care of my dhara. i would want to keep a khula dhara, but the problem is that my dhara is always messy, and it is very curly. when i put some oil on it, i start to get some pimples on my face, so i actually avoid that.. i put gel a couple of times on it, which messed up the color of my dhara, i can now see brown hair in my dhara. and now i dont use that either, what should i do? i comb it everyday, and wash it everyday too, i use some conditioner, but prolly twice a week, because then …

    Hi Do you know if sikhs can wear a kirpan in and around paris city ie effiel tower or on trains etc. And are kirpans allowed in Disney land paris? I have read that the security at the train station into disneyland paris is a proper airport security type. Please could someone give a heads up for us. How well are the french aware of the kirpan.
