This is why I stopped going gurdwara. I went back and its the same filth man. Trouble is I tried posting on this forum about clubbing and why its considered okay for amritdhari sikhs to go to such places. Sometimes I think to myself am I just over exagerating, but seriously I need to atleast get this out if anyone is willing to read. I only trim my moustache because I just feel nasty if it isn't trimmed. Like when I eat it just gets in the way. When my moustache is very short I feel so clean and wonderful. I don't care if my dhari is long because it doesn't get in the way. I know trimming is against sikhism, but can anyone offer another solution? Thanks!

When you've finished doing chaur sahib seva and someone else has come to take over do you have the pass them the chaur sahib or can you just leave it on the side and get up. I know it sounds like a bit of weird question. Also are you meant to have kesi ishnaan before doing chaur sahib if you've been to the bathroom?

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
