  2. forget this twat... 100's like him. but sheesha bars is a huge problem. recently massively popular with shameless sikh girls because they open early unlike nightclubs- easier to lie to the folks. As these places are owned and run by sullaahs its easy picking for them.

  3. Kally, let me ask you something : If I were to come to your house today, smash your kids around and then make them watch while I rape you.....and then make you watch while I rape your daughter....and then make both you and your daughter watch while I put tyres around your husband and sons necks and burn them alive.....If that were to happen, are you honestly saying you would turn around to me and say "Ah well...whats done is done....no point dwelling on it....lets move on" ? So you're telling us that is what you'd do rather than want me arrested and brought to justice ? No ? Well then why are you suggesting those that went through exactly that in 1984 "move on" ? Do they not deserve justice ?

  4. No community is perfect and there are bad apples in every dharam/culture/society/history. Judging from the picture, guy is probably around 16ish in some asian country and doing such stuff to appear cool in manmat way. He or thousands like him keep long kesh and wear sikh turban is because of internal fear of their parents. Just like punjab politician wear turban to gather votes from sikh population. Can we ignore them? No we shouldn't. We, individuals should go and inspire such youngsters rather than ignoring them. Have them involve in your sangat and see how fast people chnage once they notice good things about our kaum.

  6. Sewa Singh was in the punjab police when the 1978 vaisakhi massacre took place and joined up with the Babbar Singhs. Later some of the Singhs moved over to Sant Jarnail Singh's jatha, Sewa Singh was kicked out by Sant ji for his weird rituals which he tried to get the Singhs to follow. He was jailed for a few years I believe and when he came out he launched his dera to start his pakhand on a larger scale. Many Singhs believe he is backed by govt and rss.

  7. I used to do regular seva in langar hall and use to feel very upset and angry when i use to see someone doing seva standing at my place. With time i learned that never ask for seva which is already being done instead find some thing else to do if you cant find anything just sit and listen gurbani.

  8. There is no magic pill here. Increase your naam simran, read more bani, do more sangat, visit gurudwara more often, do more seva. Please do a search on the forum as this has been discussed plenty of times. I would also recommend you try some yoga to balance out your hormone levels http://www.mrsikhnet.com/2008/10/16/sodarshan-chakra-kriya-meditation/ "Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't." -- Erica Jong I'm closing this topic now.

  9. I personally don't believe in massive conspiracies by Jewish backed free mason's and all that. So I won't comment on that. But to those who doubt the Singh Sabha Movement is shameful. About a decade after Maharaja Ranjit Singh's raj the sikh population fell to approximately 1.8 million. We were literally on the brink of dissapearing. It was in large part due to the Singh Sabha that this all turned around. I don't have the numbers infront of me, but the growth in sikh population during Singh Sabha are staggering. I bet a lot of our families sikh heritage can be traced back to the movement. We should be indebted to those Singhs forever.

  10. That video is just embarrasing. I have never heard of any concept that says people should skake their heads around and move left and right etc..when doing Naam Simram. The people in the video make it look like a scene from a mental hospital with their actions, some people lying on the floor kicking his legs around, other peoples dastaars coming off and wildly shaking their hair around. etc.. Surely Naam Simaram requires conentration, stillness of the mind focus of mental energy. Not acting like a mental patient or a drug addict....

  11. This issue stirs up emotions in a lot of us, and if they spill onto the forum then it is due to the nature of the topic. He didn't come on here asking a question or wanting to know what happened. He came here to tell us that we sound like a bunch of black people talking about the slave days. If you start a thread with an insult, what do you expect to get in return? Every Sikh knows what happened in 1984, and if they don't then a quick internet search will fill you in. Whether he is a Hindu or not (who really knows on the the internet), he is taking a Hindu stance on this issue i.e. let's forget and move on. There is something called internal oppression. It is when you demoralize a population into thinking that any action they take will be futile. Statements like forget and move on, it happened in the past, let it go, etc. are damaging to the collective psyche, especially when they come from supposed "Sikhs". The fact of the matter is that the mass graves discovered in India have given us a new push towards extradition of Kamal Nath to face trial in New York, a case is being filed in the U.N., and similar steps are going to be taken in England. Progress is being made on these cases, and all we have to do is see them through. The diaspora is growing stronger and India is scared that we will reveal the true face of India to the West. A face riddled with corruption and human rights abuses. It is the not beyond the scope of reasoning to assume that India will do everything it can, including utilizing "internet warriors" to demoralize the sangat from even discussing these issues.

  13. Well that is only the view of the exhibition organisers that there was such a relation to the aforementioned religions in the first place. At the end of the day the only aim of these people seems to be to undo the great work of the Singh Sabha Lehar.

  14. This is just an attempt by snatanists to try to raise doubts over the singh sabha movement.

  15. Does anyone have any concrete evidence about his role in the Delhi genocide? I'm struggling to believe that he could get away with what he is alleged to have done without any video evidence or maybe numerous witness testimonies given that he is a demi-god in India. Anybody?

  17. LOL....Typical to deny what the punjabi version is saying. Its the first rehat to take Amrit. First your like minded people want to separate women and say you can't take Amrit and now your on the road to separate Sikh and Singh. What is the next agenda?
