  3. Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj and Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj are one and the same, as you have said. In the lines you and jsinghz are discussing, Guru Sahib is showing people many things. 1. Guru Sahib is being humble. 2. None of our Gurus called themselves equal to Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj. However the next Guru didn't hestitate to say before, me the Guru is one and only Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj. 3. Guru Sahib in Dasam Bani states, i don't know all, only you (Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj) know all, again Guru Sahib is showing humility. If we take these lines literally, then how can Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj be the True Guru. Gurbani tells us that the True Guru knows Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj. So there is a deeper meaning to the lines. When the Gurus wrote about themselves, they wrote with the utmost humility to teach us a lesson. Not to speak in ego about ourselves (Sikhs). 4. Also, so we don`t start worshipping Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj as a devta (separate from Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj as the other religions do). Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj told us don`t see any difference between me (Satguru) and Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj. Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji Maharaj is Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj!!!

  4. This video also shows the disgraceful people that are the hosts who invited Giani Iqbal Singh. In our tradition, a guest(mehmaan) is treated with the utmost respect. His honour and safety is to be guarded by the host no matter what. Instead this host "soch" invites him only to be insulted and humiliated. What a disgraceful man he must have been to let that happen in his own house to his guest. Iqbal Singh gave the correct meaning of what Sharda means, yet they continued with their Bakwaas. Secondly if you come for a debate is it not only the fair thing to do to inform your oponent so he can also prepare for the debate? it's like coming for a battle fully armed and not letting your opponent know and attacking him while he is unarmed. This is not the Sikh tradition. This is what I would expect a non-Sikh to do. If Jeowala is eager for a debate why doesn't he challenge those Singhs who beat him recently on TV in a debate? Atleast when Ghagha was humbled by Kulbir Singh Jee, Ghagha did not go around challanging people afterwards like he did before. But Jeonwala is an extremely shameless creature.

  5. I'm not sure where you copy pasted that whole post from, but I have one question for you. Do you not understand the concept of Nirgun and Sargun? Also, I'm not sure what you are saying but I'm wondering if I suddenly am not able to write coherent English. I never said there were multiple Gods. No Sikh can say that as Gurbani starts from the the number One. Guru Gobind Singh Jee in Sri Jaap Sahib says Anyk hYN ] iPr eyk hYN ] nmsqM ArUpy nmo srb rUpy

  6. @JSinghnZ I think you are still not getting the point what everyone is trying to make. Get out the defination of GOD . You have to realize it. What you are trying to say is like a computer is trying to understand from definations and explanations from internet and gets confused with words/explanation , although from sikhism , Why are u treating GOD as single Human being operating all. He is formless but he can take many form. Even he is inside eveyone. "Man tu jot saroop hai , apna mool pachan". We are not saying that there are many GODs just like Hindu Mythology says there 33 crorr devi/devtas. The GOD is one only. IT means his Jyot is one only and that Jyot pervades everywhere. Bhagat Naamdev ji was seeing that Jyot in Dog an was offering him roti. So what you will say to him. We can't make you understand you have to realize that. Even we all are GOD in itself. Its only that we have been covered with maya like kam krodth lobh moh. Once we clear eveything , like Brahamgyani , then there will be no diff between we and GOD. "Nanak Brahamgyani aap parmeshwar". Just like we mix the glass of water in ocean then we can't differentiate where is that water which we mix. we can't separate it. Same thing happens when mixes with GOD .Like our Guru sahib they one and same. Can't be separated. IN Nirgun Saroop Jyot is one with no form. But in sargun saroop they are our Guru sahib

  7. Arguably, going to uni could make your rehat easier to keep. You're more free to do what you want when you want. If possible, try to get accommodation with en suite. Although I'm not amritdhari, I found it much easier to get up and wash and do nitnem. Other main important thing is the company you keep. Most of my friends weren't into clubbing, going out and getting wasted etc so meant I didn't and wasn't tempted to either. Don't see uni as a time when things are more difficult but as a time when you can essentially re-invent yourself, and have more control. The five vices will be more prominent so remember to arm yourself with nitnem and naam.

  8. @ ragmaala if you listen to Sant Isher Singh's aatmic Bachans, he talks about the last realisation being of nirgun (without attributes) waheguru. Think about it; even before maya (illusion form consisting of 5 elements) was created waheguru was always in nirgun state. Hence the ultimate stage is to realise your ultimate identity is of nothingness/consciousness etc. All experiences occur in the sargun form where there is maya or subtle forms of maya aka suksham sareer and even deeper the karan sareer. Because of the ego we automatically start discriminating with different types of form and create duality of 'I'. When this illusion is removed we realise our true nirgun identity, which is nirboh and nirvair.
