Khalsa ji, As you know there are 100's of degrading and offensive youtube videos. Many are very dangerous coming out of india, using divide and rule tactics, raising caste tensions, degrading shaheeds singhs etc. I am hoping to start an Activist facebook group, where we can have at least a couple thousand Sikhs who all collectively report and dislike a video. Any IT Savvy people, could you confirm that this would work, as all IPs would be different? Please let me know your thoughts so we can start this straight away. It would be like daily sewa just clicking and reporting a video collectively.

We would like to make a few things clear: We have only the utmost respect for Sangat Trust and all Sewadars involved in the betterment of our Community. The filming was sponsored, sanctioned, filmed and edited by members of Sangat TV crew. The SAS did not at any stage bypass the normal procedure for the "Sangat Awareness Show" to be aired. Any sensationalised Text Message did not originate from the SAS. The filming was done in a responsible manner as to not provoke any negative reaction. We accepted Sangat TV's decision to cancel the show and reported it as such, as a cancellation, without speculations to the reasons why. We accept this to be a error of communication and look forward to working and supporting the Sangat Trust in future. Please be aware that Sunday 22nd Jan Shows on Panjab radio and Sikh Channel was Not represented by members of the SAS. We were told that the shows will cover grooming from a youth perspective, but we had no representatives on the show, nor were the guest aware of any details of the case in question. We would urge the youth to work responsibly and collectively towards highlighting the problems at hand, without sensationalism, finger-pointing and spreading rumours. I have had similar thoughts recently as you. My idea is to create a DVD to hand out at gurdwaras which can contain katha in english, nitnem, and literature, Each dvd can hold about 4.7gb. and 100 dvds on amazon costs about £20. After searching on the internet, i found two good websites where there are a lot of excellent PDF ebooks on sihkism http://www.sikhroots.com/docman/cat_view/67-resources http://www.rajkaregakhalsa.net/literature.htm There are perhaps a few dodgy ones on the 2nd website from sikh missionary society. However there a lot of excellent distributable resources on both websites. Here is another link which i found during my search which may be of value. Ive been able to put about 40 of the PDF books onto my kindle with no problem, they can be directly converted to kindle format. hope these help.

check out atam marg magazine. it has an english section in it with some very deep spirituality. and if you use sant waryam singh ji's books as a base, you could teach about the various stages of spiritual growth at a deep level
