  1. Any attempts at satire or on-the-nose humour from Indian media sources invariably comes across as tacky and embarrassing. It's hard to pull-off that kind of humour when it doesn't come naturally; copying other nation's (usually western) humour and satire doesn't cut it as it's completely alien to the Indian culture! They fail to understand this. True genius satirical comedy is something like Brass Eye from Chris Morris and Armando Ianucci.

  2. Somebody do a favor for Hari Singh and present Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj's Katha to him on Sri Chand. Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars are saying that Sri Chand was full of ego and did not recieve mukhti. Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj does the correct katha of Bhai Sahib's Vaars on Sri Chand. Go to www.gurmatveechar.com to listen to this amazing katha. Sant ji is the block in these Sri Chand followers way. Deep down these Sri Chand followers hate Sant ji for not lying for their leader as some udhasis do to make Sri Chand look good. If Sant ji was here right now, he would tell Hari Singh exactly how Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars are not limited to time. Chela of Sri Chand and Hari Singh need to understand Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars are not limited to time and whatever is written in the Vaars will not change over time. I wouldn't be surprised if Sant ji would have summoned Hari Singh for going against Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars. People like to boost about Hari Singh being a student of Sant Baba Gurbachan SIngh ji Maharaj. How can he be a true student when he goes against his teacher. He sat in the classroom without listening to the teacher and waited till he could take Gurdwara stages to promote his thinking. Give Hari Singh Sant ji's katha and let's see what he says. Record his reaction and in a second everyone will find out if Hari Singh is a Sant or not.

NEVER, coz they cudnt give a crap bowt us. Only hindu panjabis sometimes stick up for us, but thats only a small amount now. makin fun of fauja singh by sayin hes runnin away from tytler n 84' to canada, is shameless from these dirtystanis. How about if germany made a show, showing anne frank runnin away n sayin im runnin away from adolf hitler in 1940+ etc? Germans would never b forgiven in the modern age, so how can this b acceptable? Oh yea n fauja singh lives in england doesnt he? why they keep sayin canada. WAKE UP CALL!!! Look at how a few moths back there was a parody ad by ashton kutcher makin fun of an indian geezer, n it got taken off coz of indian complaints of bein "racist", where r those ppl wen sardars r made fun of in films/ads??

  7. That wasn't funny at all. They are mocking other people's religion and the killing of innocents. What is funny is these desis attempts to emulate Western culture. No doubt, the producer saw an episode of a Western late-night talk show and attempted to copy it. As usual, they came off as being fobs or freshies. They probably thought they were being satirical. Sikhs are running from '84? You want to know what you folks are running from? Lack of toilet facilities, hepatitis, lack of deodorant, malaria, and dysentery. Man, don't you desis realize that the world is laughing at you? You're fob accents and strong body-odor give you away, no matter how hard you try to act like goreh. "Hello, this is Rajeev, err...I mean Randy. Thank you for calling Dell."

  8. Why the onus should be on respected -one of great students (Sant hari singh ji randhawale) of sant gurbachan singh bhindranwale and rest of sant gyanis who were vidyarthis of sant gyani gurbachan singh ji bhindranwale who hold same overall position on (gatti of baba sri chand maharaj, baba sri chand came back in gurmat with blessing of satguru nanak dev ji started udasin samaprda) - same position as sant gurbachan singh bhindranwale ..Why? Because they understand context- uthanka (historical)- bhav arth correctly? why onus should be on them? Why? Because grade 1 students who cannot let go off their bigotry for a second and hide behind gurmat to fight their sadistic flame wars all day long? In fact, the real onus should on - new age taksalis and their samagams boyz who failed to understand the uthanka/bhav art of gurbani and bhai gurdas ji varan by sant gurbachan singh bhindranwale and failed to see bigger picture, so yea the real onus should be on these people to find another top student of sant gurbachan singh ji bhindranwale to counter what - sant hari singh ji randhawale saying on topic of baba sri chand maharaj. I doubt they find another student of sant ji who provides views against baba sri chand maharaj...regardless whichever way you want to spin it. The whole sant mandali along students of sant gurbachan singh bhindranwale plus sant gyani gurbachan singh bhindranwale himself stands united on baba sri chand maharaj (how they came back in Gurmat, were top bhramgyani/satpursh with kirpa of satguru nanak himself)..!! So yeah, here is the list of few top students out of many of sant gyani gurbachan singh bhindranwale, go out and search any of the students who can counter what sant hari singh ji randhawale said in the video- Lets get back to work boyz, let go off your call of duty video game and start searching for answers as true sikh without bringing own bigotry and shortcoming behind Gurmat.

  9. UK = Totally agree with you kullyKhalsa Ji. What differentiates bewteen human beings is not our religion that we state we belong to but solely the actions we do in our lives, according to the individual set of circumstances we face. In that "examination test" of our lives, Sikhs like me might fail whereas another gareeb Muslim from a slum may pass etc, etc. Having said that, following the Amritdhari marg should (theoretically if adhered to truthfully) ensure an expedited route to coming closer to ParmAathma. In Sachkhand people don't follow religions ... "Tuhin Tu" ... so all worldly souls who were born into different faiths are sure to be represented ... but more importantly when merged with ParmAathma there are hardly likely to be differences within one merged Great Soul that is ParmAathma.

  10. Agreed. They do it for the money, but I think Sikhs are the ones coming out in large numbers to watch the film. Singh is King movie highlighted a new formula. Put a famous Bollywood actor in a dastaar, make him the hero of the film (rather than the clown), then sit back and watch Sikhs pay good money to see a movie about "Singhs". Unfortunately, I have yet to see an authentic sardar, or an accurate representation of our religion in these films. They mostly just perpetuate negative stereotypes.

  11. I think the Sikh Federation missed a good opportunity to mobilse Sikhs and let Bachchan know just how we feel about him. He seems to come to the UK without any fear that he will meet Sikh protests. Can I suggest that Sikh organisations that are serious about making him pay for his crime get someone to keep tabs on his blog and organise peaceful protests whenever he comes to the UK. If Sikh organisations had produced some leaflets outlining how Bachchan is an accessory through his slogans which were aired on Doordarshan for the massacre of tens of thousands of Sikhs and handed these out to all those along his torch rally route you can bet that would have been his last public engagement in the UK.

  12. And even more for the pretenders and the believers of fairy tales Guru Gobind Singh Sahib got several books of Hindu mythology (Chandi Charitra, Krishanawtar, Ramawtar, Chaubisawtar) translated into Punjabi not with a purpose of worshipping these so-called gods and goddesses but in order to expose them. These so-called gods and goddesses are figures of fiction. They seem to be, in fact, strange persons e.g. jealous of each other, political, diplomatic, conspiracy making feudal. They do not seem to be godly in any manner. Besides, Guru Sahib, in unequivocal words, asked the Sikhs to reject them. In these mythological works there are some ballads of chivalry, bravery, which Guru sahib wanted to narrate in order to invoke spirit of fearlessness and Righteousness among the Sikhs. Guru Gobind Singh Sahib said; I do not worship Ganesha I do not ever worship Krishan or Vishnu I do not consider them even as such (gods) I concentrate only on the feet of the Almighty (Krishanavtar) Since I have found a place in Your feet (O Almighty), I don't even look at any one else Ram, Rahim, Puran, Quaran tell a lot but I don't even bother for them Simritis, Shastras, Vedas, explain different things but I do not consider them of any worth O Almighty! by Your Grace I have learnt it all from Your Word (Ramavtar) http://www.sikhmarg..../The-Sikhs.html

  13. And here is something more for the pretenders and believers in fairy tales to ponder on. Krishna Avatar is only the translation of hindu historical texts. From the translation3 and explanation of historical texts and Puranas one cannot say that this is the counsel of Guru Gobind Singh Ji to the Sikhs. Concerning religion, writings of the Guru are Jaap Sahib and Sawayeas. There in is only greatness and praise of the Eternal and the Avatars are described as servants of the Lord. Excerpts taken from Hum Hindu Nahin Written by Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha Translated by Dr. Jarnail Singh

  14. This Shabad is not just telling us to not worship Krishna in physical form, but in any form. Neither is the shabad saying Krishna just fell to physical death. But died spiritually because he could not get rid of the ego( Dasam Bani tells us this). Again magic tricks are being pulled to cover the truth from others eyes. Atma never dies, but spiritually a person can die (remember what Sant Baba Jarnail Singh ji Maharaj said!!!). Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj explains in katha that don't let the relationship of you and the Guru go bad with the metaphor of milk and water. When it goes bad then you can't bring it back. Hence it is refered to as spiritual death in this life. Maybe in the next lives a person's atma can get mukti, but not this life. So yes a person can spiritually die. In the way this group wants to say Krishna was an avtar of God, We can say in the same way the criminal who raised his kids in a moral manner and taught others about righteous living, but trafficked drugs for a living is an avtar of God. He had good points about him like Krishna, but ultimately he was under the control of the 5 vices. In this sense everything is an avtar of God. Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj sends everyone down to do 'their' work. Only difference between Krishna and the criminal is that Krishna was sent to spread dharma, where Akal Purakh is worshipped, instead Krishna got others to worship him. Again i will stress stick to Gurbani and leave these fairy tales people tell behind. One example of these fairy tales is about Sri Chand being liberated after coming to Gurmat. How do we know it is a fairy tale because Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars tells us Sri Chand did not recieve mukhti. One excuse many so called scholars make here is that they say Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars are the key to Gurbani, but want to go against these Vaars by saying Sri Chand was liberated. If Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars are the key to Gurbani understanding, then the Vaars are eternal and beyond time, which means they don't change or someone can say something changed after the Vaars were written. A quick remimder...........Satguru Sri Guru Arjan Dev ji Maharaj was about to put Bhai Sahib's Vaars in Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj, but out of humility Bhai Sahib said don't. Again fairy tales don't pass the test of Gurbani.

  15. Guru Granth Sahib Ji includes bani of 15 Bhagats and they were from different religion. Sheikh Farid Ji, Bhagat Kabeer Ji were muslims. Bhagat Naamdev Ji, Bhagat Ramanand Ji were Hindu but it doesnt mean they havent met God. Bhagat naamdev ji was a hindu but he codemned the practises followed by brahmans. Many of Guru Ji followers were from other religion. Saai Mia Meer Ji, who laid the foundation of Harmandir Sahib was a muslim, Bhai Nand Lal Ji was Hindu, though he became Sikh afterwards and there are many other examples. It doesnt matter from which religion you are you can be one with God. But why we Sikhs are lucky because our Guru Ji left us with pure Brahmgyan in the roop of Guru Granth Sahib Ji rather than other religions' scriptures which mostly include karam kaands, but if someone being from those religions rise above these karamkaands and understand the concept of seeing one supreme lord in everyone its possible meet God. Bhagat Naamdev Ji saw God even in a dog. We all are sons of one supreme lord. As Guru ji says " Hindu Turk Koi Raafzi Imaam Saafi, Maanas Ki Jaat Sabhai Ekai Pehchanbo." " Jimin Jaman Ke Bikhai Samast Ek Jot Hai", "Aval Allah Noor Upaya, Kudrat Ke Sab Bande"," Koi Bolai Raam Raam Koi Khudaye". Guru Ji taught us equality but we still divide people on basis of caste, religion. Guru Ji said unless we see one lord in everyone, we are not going to be one with the lord. 16. It is you who is missing the point. Why should Gurdwara matrimonials be used by the girls and their families to shamelessly and publically show their shameless preference for " clean shaven" sirgums. There are heaps of other methods for these shameless people to get their shameless preferences. THE MATRIMONIAL SERVICE IN GURDWARAS SHOULD ONLY BE FOR KESHDHARI TURBANNED SIKHS. Please open another thread to discuss for your so called "fundamental problem." I don't understand why some people want to over dramatize an issue by making statements like " where the dhari and kesh have become extremely stigmatized in our community."

  17. Generally speaking, vidya of studying different religion and appreciating unity within diversity (of all the dharams) have gone extinct from the mainstream panth. So naturally, Sikhs are honestly innocently- ignorant of other mystic traditions of other faiths. There were reasons why Sri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj had 52 poets in his darbar from all different faiths, presenting their experience with divine from their mystic traditions because they were all celebrated and cherished together and NO- they were not thrown in ball fire/burn the witch attitude by singhs around that time in insecurity and paranoia asked them to fully convert to Sikhi by guilt trips (sad reality in camps today). Gurmat clearly is unique way from same old and same old crap coming from hindu pandits and muslim mullah bickering among themselves- my salvation provided in dharam is higher, my dharam prayer is parvan, mullah says my prayer is parvan. Sri Guru Gobind Maharaj started sevapanthi order and nirmale order (Bhai Dya Singh Samparda/Bhai Dharam Singh Samparda, taksal nirmale upsamparda) to study other dharams and mystic traditions along with gurmat and do parchar of gurmat while keeping diversity and harmony- so together truth (Ikongkar) is celebrated, cherished and experienced in various rays of diversity. Until to this day, in nirmale and sevapanthi orders of Gurmat, other dharams/traditions are taught and celebrated along with Gurmat(off course), because within diversity, one can truly appreciate Gurmat because Gurmat/Gurbani connects with every human consciouness, feeling and mystic traditions such as gnostic, sufism- rumi/bulleh shah etc, hindu spiritual orders. Then came elitist superamist ideology who started super imposing its own view (Victorian protestant thought) on Gurmat and tried shoving Gurmat to tunnel (but maharaj parkash cannot be shoved in to tunnel), traditions are seperate story (another painful chapter), but whole theological definition of God(Vahiguroo) was changed from beautiful divine serene- sargun, shakta-shakti intertwined with nirgun chaitan- advait gurmat metaphysical concept to western/christian idea of God who is-'fearful angry','wrathful', 'who is confined to its adobe who gives naam jhapi to his followers upon arrival where he resides before inspecting his/her uniform' 'full of partiality'- accepting the passport/issuing visa to only those who have - kes/ki, kanga, kirpan, kachera, kara' along with all sarbloh- rest billions of jiv atma were demanded to go back in this earth take birth, follow this form otherwise all souls are naturally doomed in (birth and death cycle) until they take this form. And God who is only and only confined to "naam shabad" not sargun, nirgun, naam shabad, gyan saroop-advait (Sargun Nirgun Nirankar Sun Samadhi Aaap), God who only cares about- 'Vahiguroo dhuni', sas grass naam dridh', so so much these elitist superamist try changing vahiguroo to vahguru - Gurmantar, so it matches with their robotic sound resosance- their version of shabad surat marg , they were staunchly against all other mantra (forget about outside mantra, but were staunchly against all the mantra found in gurbani itself!!!!), which provides profound expereince of divine such as- ikongkar, Ongkar, satnaam, ikongkar satgurparsad, Gobinde Mukande Udhare Aparaie Hariang Kariang Nirname Akame, Aad Gureh Nameh Jugad Gureh Nameh Satguru Nameh Sri Gurdev Nameh, these superamist refuse to matha taikh to sri guru granth sahib sargun saroop written in pad ched form (let alone saints lol) and refuse to take parsad just like pandits from fellow gursikh who has vahiguroo jot in him, called anyone who disagree with them- anti panthic, rss, congress, evil snatan, manmatiya, manmukh. So yeah off course, according to these superamist eltist - only sikh is allowed in sachkhand, hell not even sikhs but only their tribal beleif- they don't even consider nirmale, sevapanthis, udasi sikhs, they all call them - kache, pillaie, dhillaie snantan hindus- hell if sri guru nanak dev ji nirankar gave them darshan with seli topi(one of relics at fort, kartarpur), they will probably knock maharaj topi off and put dummala with aad chand on instead of maharaj divine sargun darshan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So yeah i have every reason to be here present traditional views on sachkhand, after all traditional gurmat is de-marganalized/demonized and hijacked by eltist superamist. I refuse to sit here and listen to their "revisionist victorian protestant version of Sikhi".!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Without the True Guru, no one has obtained the Lord; without the True Guru, no one has obtained the Lord. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji ang 466 Also, Bhai Randhir Singh Ji in Anhad Shabad Dasam Duar: “The Liberation-state of Gurmat is unique and different in concept from other religious faiths. Liberation is not the mere ending-up of the human body or just an escapement of the soul from its bodily cage. Some envisage liberation as riddance from afflictions associated with the human body. They believe liberation is unattainable as so long as the soul is caged within the human body. Others identify liberation as the fulfillment of their desires to abide in a heavenly abode. However, this kind of liberation falls very short compared to the Gurmat concept of liberation. Liberation is not the banishment of imagined pain and sorrow, nor can it be described as the disassociation of the soul-being from materialism. Yogic faith conceives liberation as empty consciousness through meditational practices that bear no semblance to the Gurmat concept. Vedantic faith believes in the removal of duality to arrive at oneness with The Absolute, in order to be liberated. Buddhism believes liberation to be a state of total renunciation of desire and negative thought – Nirvaana. Jainism considers that non-violence and non-killing leads to liberation. Mere escape from transmigration is not the essence of True Liberation…. Gurmat considers the above listed forms of liberation as halfway and incomplete. The swan-bird Gurmukhs who are blessed with Divine Enlightenment reject all these forms. They merge with The Divine Immaculate Light whilst living; they envision The Glorious Lord in full Divine Splendour. Gurmukhs are sustained by the nourishment of Naam-Divine, while they behold The Lord at all times. They find True Liberation within this Love-Divine…Their Liberation lies in the sole occupation of Naam-Devotion, in accordance with Gurmat. This supreme state is reached through complete dedication, when one takes refuge within The Guru…what is not sought is a form of liberation devoid of God-Realisation.”

  19. Kalyugi Veer, In general we should be careful being "authoritarian" on other dharam theology without looking and studying at other dharams in depth. I think most of us look at other dharam outer layer and start jumping the gun. It's kinda like same - person from other dharam looks at our sikh dharam via lense of sikh missionary who believes - main aim for sikh is to good human being and do seva (as they don't beleive in naam simran) nor they beleive in heaven/hell/reincarnation and sachkhand and they think thats sikh beleif. Off course, mystic traditions of all religions are not very popular because of 80% of so called dharamis/religious people are nothing but bunch of goons have hijacked their own dharam for their own ideological war fare, political gains, you know herding and controlling like minded sheep mentality so they can have power. Religion is like commodity for these guys..!!. We are quite lucky all though we have maryada- rules as well- Sikhi start itself or present itself as a mystic tradition than your typical "ism" Victorian version of religion (regardless of bhausari attempts) as i said earlier- Out of all mystic traditions, clearly gurmat is distinct and an short cut way to get to sachkhand..!! With that being said, one could still hold an right position, consistent with all samparda's and saint orders in Sikhism that -sackhand is not exclusive to sikhs!!

  20. core concept of all abrahamic religions is the belief in 1 god (sounds familiar) If you read other scriptures you can see in them that essentially the core message is the same be kind, be good, do good deeds out of the worlds major religions sikhi is similar to most of their core principles I think the analogy your using is flawed the correct analogy to use would be that all religions followed properly and with pyaar will get you an A, Sikhi is essentially pass plus easier/quicker to get an A in

  21. Thats bullocks...This whole idea of sachkhand only accessible/permissible by amritdhari singhs came with bhausaria and its revisionist ideology of Sikh Dharma. I have fought by maharaj kirpa to the teeth with bhausaria panthis and will continue to do so...whats next? sachkhand made out of sarbloh doors?..i wouldn't be suprised as teja singh singh bhausaria change vahiguroo mantar to make it more tat khalsa oriented!! All mystic traditions of all dharams (i.e christians- gnostic, muslims- sufi, hindu- umberalla of orders believing in nirgun paratma- sarabvypak atma-paratma etc) have potential to merge with god - sachkhand, they all have named differently but its same..!! Most sikh bhramgyani saints believe sachkhand is sanjha to all (including sant hari singh ji randhawale who is on record on saying krishan maharaj is in sachkhand), not just reserved to sikhs (who these days, love to debate and love to live in glorious concepts and past including me at times, but hardly make any effort to go towards sachkhand). Out of all mystic traditions, clearly gurmat is distinct and an short cut way to get to sachkhand..!! What is sachkhand? Gurmat supports meta reality, based on your spiritual surti and perception- . Sackhand is both- in form of baikhunt is real realm and sachkhand - state of mind- avastha is nirgun chaitan bhram- sarab vypak (one's intituation totally merged with all prevading vahiguroo). Both are parvan in Gurmat, no one is inferior to one another..! Here is sufi version of sachkhand, its from sant waryam singh ji ratwara sahib wale divan:

How come that thing is called soul mate which will leave you as soon as your soul leaves your body ? 24. There are two extreme mindsets at present, the mindset that rejects anything to do with a Hindu influence and the mindset that accepts anything that is placed before it as long as there is an elaborate sakhi or some made up story behind it. One mindset can be called the Nang mindset and to a lesser degree Buddha Dal and the other by Bhasauria followers like Kala Afghana. Both take things to the extreme, if one reads the earlier life of Teja Singh Bhausauria then one gets the impression that here was a Gursikh who was making an all out effort to rid Sikhi of the influence of Hinduism. He was against caste when the Nihangs, Nirmalas and the so-called descendents of the Gurus and the other so-called original sapardhas were discriminating against low castes. He looked for answers in Gurbani and questioned the mixture of Hinduism and Popular beliefs that went by the name of Sikhism during his time. At some stage he veered off the Sikhi path and went on to become a Tankhaiya thinking that he knew more than the Gurus and splitting the Bhagat Bani from the Guru Granth Sahib. The same is the case with the other extreme, the Nangs and some factions of Buddha Dal. They will accept any story and anything as long as one of the Gurus is mentioned in the story. They will accept any text that is presented to them and consider it to be Gurbani. They wil believe in lords of the rings type stories about hidden texts and hidden knowledge! The middle way of Sikhi is the Singh Sabha, AKJ and DDT.
