  1. This is a joke. Bani is bani. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Bani is bani. May bani be on your phone, computer, in your heart, or inside the 11th Guru. Daas believes that nearly everybody respects Guru Ji as kindly do not slander my Guru by saying saroop is not larivaar etc. No one makes the Guru. They become visible themself just like the Khalsa was never made, it became visible. "Pargat" is the word to be precise. Guru Ji exists as they please and will continue to do so and they know that people will not be able to read larivaar saroop so may be they have become visible in today's form. But daas does not know on this as onyl Guru Ji knows. Do ardaas and take a hukamnama.

  2. So what do you do when you go to Gurdwara, first check Guru Ji's saroop and if it is not to your liking you walk away ?

  3. That is insane. So glad that the police officer is doing well, 25 years in uniform must have been the difference between life or death here. Hope Baba Punjab Singh makes a recovery and is in chardi kala again. Sikhs in the USA should check their local laws and lawfully obtain a firearm for self defense and take firearm courses (gun safety and training). This applies to men an women.

Let's join together, and tell stories of our All-powerful Husband Lord. All Virtues are in our True Lord and Master; we are utterly without virtue. ||1|| O Creator Lord, all are in Your Power. I dwell upon the One Word of the Shabad. You are mine-what else do I need? ||1||Pause|| Go, and ask the happy soul-brides, ""By what virtuous qualities do you enjoy your Husband Lord?"" "We are adorned with intuitive ease, contentment and sweet words. We meet with our Beloved, the Source of Joy, when we listen to the Word of the Guru's Shabad.""||2|| You have so many Creative Powers, Lord; Your Bountiful Blessings are so Great. So many of Your beings and creatures praise You day and night. You have so many forms and colors, so many classes, high and low. ||3|| Meeting the True One, Truth wells up. The truthful are absorbed into the True Lord. Intuitive understanding is obtained and one is welcomed with honor, through the Guru's Word, filled with the Fear of God. O Nanak, the True King absorbs us into Himself. ||4||10|| This is the katha of this Shabad starting at approx 22.30 mins. I was listening to this today, and it reminded me on a now closed topic, about whether the Farid was Shakkar OR al-Sani. In it Sant Gurbachan Singh tells of Guru Nanak Dev Ji going to Pakpattan and meeting al-Sani, who asks Guru Nanak Dev Ji onhow ot acheive Mukti. Some posters were of the opinion that it was al-Sani's bani that Guru Ji included in SGGS.

  5. **Mod Note** This is a formal warning to shape up. This is the section where intellectual discussions occur, please don't refer to other members as "jokes". Gurbani is supreme and if you want to have an intellectual discussion here. Have utmost respect and satkar for Guru Granth Sahib Ji and what Guru Sahib says. This applies to everyone, equally.

  6. Before you ask another for references. You need to present your reference for your opinions. Its obviously you have an agenda here.............started two threads on the same topic. Right now i don't have the time make it picture clear that Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj was/is Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj since he came on this earth in the form as Nanak. When i do, i will surely give all these baseless claims a response. They have already given a response, but let's refresh these guys memory. First how do you know Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj even got the throne of Guru (Satguru), when Akal Purakh or no other (Sargun) equal came and told the world Nanak is the Guru? So how can we claim Gurbani is the Guru? Before you go any further answer these questions for all of us here, since you know more than us as you claim. Singho............this poster is being very clever. As Gurbani says clever ways never pass the test of truth. This poster is trying to make Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj no better than Buddha. This posters agenda is to say all religions lead to God as the Guru (teacher), Nanak or Buddha had to search for God and both found him through their own ways, which are both equal. Singho the bigger agenda of such posters is to take Sikhs away from Sikhi and join Sikhs to other religions that don't follow Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. I see the same behaviour coming from the guys who acheive doctorare in the field of science and then use this title to claim they are doctors of Sikhi. This is the attack that is taking place behind closed doors on SIkhi. Many of these type of people go into religious study classes or meetings and spread this kind of propaganda about Sikhi. Recently i gave a good thrashing to such people in a religious meeting and at the end the person said.............how do you know Gurbani is truth? They only start off by saying Gurbani is the truth at the beginning of the discussion because it benefits their agenda. But once the listeners start to doubt more and more through dicussion, they slowly reveal their main agenda and they majority of the time have won over many of the listeners, which includes Sikhs. One thing the new generation of SIkhs need to learn is, if a Brahmgyani tells you that Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj is Satguru ever since coming on to this planet. And you don't have the time, can't read Gurbani, can read....don't understand Gurbani, have other shortcomings, then bow your mind in the Brahmgyani direction and if these propaganda machines come to say otherwise. Then on the spot tell the guy to keep his mouth shut. Don't listen and stick to the Brahmgyanis words. Satguru says if we just meditate on one tuk of Gurbani, then we will be mukht. Contemplating over Gurbani to gain knowledge is needed, but sharda (faith), devotion and contentment (for what Brahmgyani and Gurbani tell you) is much higher, which will get you to Sri Vaheguru Ji Maharaj. All this debating and discussing is only for the ego, which the propaganda machines can't control so they say Brahmgyanis are liars and we know all. When such people say Brahmgyanis are liars, then they will not have respect for what you say for a second. Satguru Sri Guru Gobind SIngh Sahib ji Maharaj said rehat is more dear to me than a Sikh. I'm completely ignorant of Gurbani and i can understand what Satguru is telling me to do here. If Sikhs become one strong fist on this topic alone, then these propaganda machines can't put Sikh against Sikh. If we don't then these propaganda machines are going to break your mind down and take you away from SIkhi and make you hate your own brothers and sisters. When I post the Gurbani evidence, I will also post how these propaganda machines will make the connection between Nanak and Buddha being the same. I know many of you believe i am very paranoid, but this is not the case at all. Also there are many posters on here who have the time to crush the propaganda machines opinions, but when it comes to these topics these individuals run away. When it comes to Sri Chand, Nirmala, Udasis, etc, then they come in full force ready to protect to the last breath. They want to speak of unity, so here is a thread we all can come together on, but no they are staying away from this thread.

  15. My mom told me not to sleep in the way i've been sleeping because my feet are towards a certain direction. When someone dies, they put him in that way so his/her feet are in that direction. Im like whatever. Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale said that Sikhism is not for weak hearted. The greatest gem that Guru Granth Sahib Ji gives us is that of shaheedi. I heard in a katha that there are about 82,000 different situations (I may be wrong with the # but its definitely over 70,000) that are considered by Hindus before they step out of their house. Situations such as: leaving at the right time for something; waiting if someone sneezes; if the cat crosses the path etc. Like there different mantras and chantings that i can't get my head across. Im not demeaning Hinduism. If thats their religion then its the best for them. However, if you're a Sikh then the "mool mantar" takes care of everything. Maybe you should tell your neighbor that if they're going to buy a house that is in a certain direction, then they should keep in their minds thousands of other things and doing things accordingly?

I am not trying to act like any 'panthic police' or authority, I just put my views and a request based on those views forward. Once again I am a nyana bacha and invite you to educate me. 'foolish ji', as far as I am aware ethanol is not actually present in fruit and neither is it natural. Maybe I am wrong. Please forgive my mistakes.
