  1. Geezer, you talk like some proper, grovelling toad. 'Sir' Trump like he was knighted or something. Okay, we get you like him, but for your own sake, stop being such a dewy-eyed, fawning fan boy. You're acting like some teenage groupie does towards some member of a boy band. Seriously, compose yourself. Act like a man.

  2. Cowardly for what reason? If it's for not arming themselves, it's mainly because of Punjabi parents fear of guns, but I know plenty who pack. Reread what I said, I'm from a liberal state, but from a conservative area and have been throughout the country. The reason why the far right in UK/EU is how it is right now is because of the liberal politician's policy of ignoring a problem and catering to the Islamo"phobia" lobbyists which in turn created many irreversible problems (as seen currently unfolding). As for your comment on your claim that Trump is the cause - that isn't true. The same individuals will still be there regardless whether or not Trump is the candidate. The people who run those pages are also Trump supporters so painting it black and white isn't accurate. Read the article I linked in my previous post - a lot of apologists try to claim that the problem stems strictly from foreign policy. It had a play in catalyzing the problem, but it didn't 'create' the problem that we're facing. My radar for non-Sikhs posting as Sikhs and radar for trolls is relatively accurate...I don't think he's a Sikh.

  3. He said he is for supporting minority rights clearly in video. Like I said previously only victim mentality and self hate is making punjabis think Trump and right is against them. Salute to Lt Murphy. It's the hippy "Sikh" orgs that always bend to islamist apologist propaganda that spread fearmongering and victim mentality. Saying that I'm still pretty liberal myself but I would like to think I'm independent in my thinking. If Hillary is the nominee I am actually probably going to change my vote to Trump unless it's Bernie.

  4. Agree. Not a conspiracy at all, but capitalised on with glee by higher-ups.Let's make no mistake: the Islamists think they're calling the shots, but they too are being played. They're nothing but patsies, albeit patsies who've been given free-reign for the moment at least. In fact, I pity the true moderates within their ranks - along with those of us who'll be mistaken for them - when society descends into anarchy. It'll be the average man and woman, as always, who'll bear the brunt of the inevitable and violent tumult of change.

  5. I wish that someone here could make you feel a bit more optimistic. It makes me sad to know that it is possibly within my power to do this if I only find the right thing to say, but paji, I don't know what else to tell you. The answers you've received here are rooted in the wisdom of our Guru, this is the guidance he offers us. I feel we could help you more capably if you told us what caused this despair. 6. Agreed completely about the regressive left as being the reason why we're in the current situation. With that said I think you give more credit to far right than they deserve - they have no long term plan, but are simply learning from being utterly annihilated by Obama twice and adapting to combat the regressive left's agenda (In what they see as the right way). I think the problem we get is we're quick to label the left or right as being inherently good or bad and devoid of sincere intentions. That's why I do not agree that the right has some sort of a hidden agenda to exterminate brown people ever lol. Most people are pretty good people, but those who are more conservative tend to have a smaller thresh-hold of tolerance when it comes to issues like national security, infringement on 2nd amendment rights and illegal immigration. I am firmly of the belief that 9/11 was NOT a conspiracy and thus it was started by a demented ideology which would still be there if there wasn't an American foreign policy. The war in Iraq was simply a catalyst to a very fine line that Saddam had preserved through ah violent dictatorship - once that region was destabilized the beast was released and now it's too late to put a lid on it. For those who are trying to make a case that it was our foreign policy that solely caused the mess that we're in: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ali-a-rizvi/an-atheist-muslims-perspective-on-the-root-causes-of-islamist-jihadism-and-the-politics-of-islamophobia_b_3159286.html

  7. The Right (worldwide) is playing the long-game, and I must say it's - purely from an objective viewpoint - an absolute blinder. Bad news for any brownies like us, though, or at least our future generations. In brief, the Regressive Left (supporters of the proliferation of over-zealous political correctness; women's lib (the extremist variations); toleration and appeasement of aggressive Islamic encroachment into Western society; unfettered immigration under the guise of humanitarianism, etc) are all methods of giving the Left enough rope to hang itself. And what will the people crave and demand as a remedy to these policies? The boot of the Right to restore order. When that boot arrives, it'll be unlike anything we've ever seen. If certain elements of the Left hadn't lost their heads and had remained true to their considered, egalitarian roots, none of what we're seeing now - and will see in the future - would ever come to pass. The next 100 or so years will be rather interesting. The instigator was 9/11. God knows what the denouement will hold for humanity.

  8. If someone wanted to cause chaos on this forum they'd talk about meat or the AKJ, lol I think he's just one of those Sikhs who've been duped into thinking that the right-wing has a hard-on for our lot.

  11. Ok jee, good, there is no point living here.... But then, have you thought where you shall go, after here? Have you any idea of that place, will it have anythig better than here, or you want to go away blindly, without any idea ..... or do you think, the place you go, you can live with your choices and wishes? Anything done blindly, is like opening the door and inviting more and more disasters on oneself. Now please do not tell me, anything is better than here, because that is not truth at all. If you want to be happy, hold on firmly to the source of all happiness, which is undoubtedly Wahiguru Himself. Then, go straight there where He is, having Him as goal, you will never feel disheartned, nor cheated, but on the contrary, you will feel His love, His protection, His warmth, you will never ever have any sensation of loneliness, because, then you will turn from a drop as soul, into, the infinite Satnam Samundar... Dear Guest Jee _*_, next time you write any post, beware, none of us here want to listen any depressing nonsense from you, like the one quoted above, we are all with you, you have our affection and sympathy, just let yourself go ..... If not anything else, just repeat His Naam with love, regularly and punctually without fail, and HE will come and dwell within you, and that is more than enough.... Wah wah wah, Wahiguru Jee. Oouch Apaar Beant Soami. Sat Sree Akal.

  12. There is every point in living, if you share your dukh by talking to somebody. What is stressing you? Why do you feel low? Don't worry about it, Gurbani tho asra levo (turn to Gurbani for support). Whatever you are going through, accept God's will, Hukam and do Ardas to them to get you through your bad times. In good times, thank God for them. In bad times, do Ardas. And at in both times, good or bad, do Simran. Your life belongs to Waheguru, so if you feel you can't do nothing for yourself, then do for them. Live for God, serve God and ask for their support.

  14. No one said that. He is branded as brave for his courageous actions as a police officer. Also, I would say it's also brave to ask Trump a critical question that has not yet been asked. Kudos to Lt Brian Murphy.

  15. Actually you have taken that out of context "I need to post this in every thread related to Sir Donald Trump, as many sikhs here bare enmity just because he said the word "turban". You sikhs need to get over yourselves." read it again as a sentence

  16. I clicked that link the O.P. posted and i still see sikhs having enmity towards the great Sir Donald Trump. Sahib Singh This guy keeps talking about protecting and respecting the 2nd amendment. Why can't you respect the 1st amendment you orange overgrown gerbil! You kicked out a Sikhi and called his pagh a hat. Think about it America, this imbecile is really going to 'make America great again.' Really? Like · Reply · 2 · about an hour ago ^ look at this poster above LOL These the the most liked comments from youtube video posted above. footageisland Shame on you New York Daily News, he was not mocking him for wearing a Turban. I'm not into Trump but I'm into being fair and honest. And you know what? You just made me wanna watch one of his rallies. Reply35 Mark Tonight he was saying " he didn't have a make America great again hat, and he never will." you are the racists for singling out a protestor because of his religion. Reply5 NNN Wow what a misleading title. 1) Trump never mocked anyone. The hat he was referring to was his "Make America Great Again" hat. He was basically saying that if you're protesting against him, you probably do not want to make America great again. 1) There was more than one protestor. There was also a white guy without a turban. 2) Neither of them were "dragged." They were escorted out in a perfectly humane way. Show less Reply25 Jason Yuschak Only a pathetic loser would go and interrupt someone while they are giving a speech. If you don't like it then run against him and Win!! Reply36 I need to post this in every thread related to Sir Donald Trump, as many sikhs here bare enmity just because he said the word "turban". You sikhs need to get over yourselves.

  17. Dallysingh101 - this is a formal warning. Another other foul language posts will result in a report to the admin. Remember, this is a Sikh forum and thus the discussions should be had in a respectful manner. Many of the old, inactive mods would have probably marked your profile as 'Spammer' which results in the deletion of your account along with all its posts. This applies to everyone reading this equally.

  18. That's the thing though: What Trump might actually end up doing is implicitly okaying redneck types to be trigger happy against perceived 'terrorists'. You know this will be based on stereotypes. Are the people most likely to get fired up by Trump, the same that would naturally find themselves on the side of white supremacist terrorism? Anyway, good luck to you yankee Sikhs, whatever else you do, don't act like giddars.

  19. What I read from watching the above: Trump realises that the anti-immigrant rhetoric is a vote winner with masses of white people and some (to me) strange ethnics themselves. I feel that white people are going through a strange, unprecedented stage right now, as their political, economic and military hegemony (previously driven by currently shifting demographic factors) has been challenged (globally) for the first time in centuries. I see (some) parallel between Hitler's promises of making Germany great again after the knock Germans felt from WW1 and a yearning by (maybe excessively?) proud people feeling insecure at change that isn't moving in their favour for the first time in living memory. Trump (or should we say Drumph?) seems genuinely focused on taking on Islamist fundamentalism (with other people's children of course), and judging by the language he uses when talking about this (hats off to him for being honest about it), he is planning on doing this very brutally and heavy-handedly - freely using fear tactics and blunt instruments (including torture), both at home and abroad. He wants a well armed white population emboldened enough to take on jihadis at street level if required. Essentially, a government level thumbs up to vigilantism. I don't think he is under any illusion about what this will mean at ground level. That's why he didn't directly answer the question posed to him about safeguarding potentially vulnerable minorities - instead, we should read inbetween the lines perhaps? He is planning on making an omelette (as they say), and you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. Some of those eggs will inevitably be Sikh. To me, it seems like the writing is on the wall for US Sikhs if he becomes POTUS. I suspect the more combative (right wing) elements of other European countries will also get emboldened with any stories that emerge of 'jihadi take downs' from America. A lot of hate filled, supremacist white people will probably use that type of atmosphere to try and throw their weight around too. American Sikhs (like all Sikhs right now) could do with some toughening up right now, instead of demoralising everyone by looking like vulnerable, victims in the event of an increase in violence in their midst.

  20. No he did not. He said (after he was reminded the other part of the question towards the end) he would like to?? but this (banning certain sect into the country) needs to be done first and is more important. You are free to vote whoever you want to but I need to warn you to mind your words 'Mister'. Even a child can conclude from the video that he did not intend to answer the simple question put forward by the brave police officer.

  21. Dear guest, take this your present condition of being alone as a blessing in disguise. Whole world is trying to get out from maya and find a place of solace to try to meditate at His Lotus Feet, and you while being amidst the world, you have the perfect envoirements to do His bhakti. You are realizing the truth of our state in this world, that we have come alone and we shall go alone. We belong to none, and nobody is ours. Almost the whole world is entangled strongly with maya , thus struggling to detach from it. And you with His grace, are almost ready... Now tell the mind to shut up, enough of its nonsense, then firmly and faithfully dedicate yourself in His bhajan bandagee without wavering. The Bani says: Prabh ka Simran sabh tay oocha. So do His Simran regularly without fail, and gather this spiritual wealth of His Naam Simran, as much as you can, as it is the only wealth you can carry with you, and it is the only visa accepted in His Darbar, and it is the source of true happiness or bliss, cause no matter whatever else you may do, or are told to do. Because you are then not following any man made laws, but His Hukum, as per Bani, and the Bani of our Guru Sahibans is unique and the highest. So cheer up, and be thankful barambaar to Sachay Patshah Wahiguru Akal Purukh. The Bani says: Sukhmani, sukh Amrit Prabh Naam. His Naam, is the panacea for all our ills, and the unending fountain of permanent true happiness, throughout all yugas. Sat Sree Akal.

  23. Your post was intended to create differences between dals and taksals ... are you a missionary ? Anyways it was a Failed attempt to do so. Their is a nirgun and sargun sroop of akal purkh ... And arti speaks of both of the sroops ... Guru Granth sahib has not one but many tuuks sloks and shabads on aarti... Bhagat Ravidas says naam is only aarti of god does that means aarti guru nanak dev ji wrote is wrong? Bhagat danas aarti is further different... Guru Nanak dev ji wrote aarti about the nirgun sroop of akal purkh which is every where in the universe. Bhagat Ravidas wrote aarti about sroop of akalpurkh inside us. Rest all the bhagats wrote aarti about sargun sroop of akalpurkh that is Guru Granth Sahib. Read full aarti Shabad by Shabad and you will understand. I am not promoting any jathas mareyada. But if 2 takths dals nirmale akharas etc dont come under sikhs then this article as well as its title is correct else its not ... more over if a certain part of sikhs follows this mareyada they should have something to back this up ... Instead of writing articles of various issues in panth and calling your point of view as "sikh point of view". Till we force our mareyada over others our "sikh panth" will not be able to solve any problem. Be it today be it 2110 AD or 2210 AD
