  1. But what so called rationality is there in denying Gurbani such as Jaap Sahib, Svaiya and Chaupi Sahib? Or naam simran which is the soul of Sikhi? Or how about denying concepts that are mention through out Gurbani such as reincarnation. These so called parcharaks and their philosophy is pure atheism.

  2. The strains of cannabis people who typically smoke get, are often selected or specially bred for their high THC content (i.e. skunk). What's been happening over the last few decades is that growers have been trying to create the highest buzz (because it obviously sells well), so they obviously seek to increase the THC levels in various ways. So this commercial stuff is already quite different from what we might find in nature. Plus factor in that sometimes growers may cross-breed two different strains that would probably have never met in real life (i.e. a plant from India with a plant from Africa), to create a new strain. This type of weed is made up of the plant buds (not leaves) and is often grown using artificial light (indoors) which increases THC levels. Apparently natural light (as opposed to artificial) increases CBD content. Plus the leaves have a higher CBD-THC ratio than the buds. Personally, I think Singhs of old may have taken this kind of stuff to help combat PTSD or other psychological conditions that arose from the relentless warfare and violence they were surrounded with. I think people had different attitudes towards natural pharmacopoeia (including afeem) back then. I don't think it was used recreationally like today.

  3. Ummm.......you have to wonder about a man that is awake at 01:14 hrs on Saturday night /Sunday morning with nothing on his mind but marijuana. Calling it 'shaheedi degh' is just an attempt to give drugs a sense of respectability among those sikhs who are inclined towards narcotic substances. i.e..bani is not good enough for them......simran is not good enough for them.....sangat is not good enough for them. They need drugs in order to reach a stage that Gurbani on its own can take other Sikhs. It grows wild all over Punjab. You'll find it in other people's fields if not your own. It (bhang), unlike the cannbis smoked all the world, is made from the male plant and is made from the leaves and flowers of the plant. As it grows wild in the fields there the general rule among these natural plants is that the shorter the plant the higher the thc levels....i.e the taller plants will have lower thc. Thats a clever ploy I've noticed among 'Sikhs' who are attracted by drugs. Even though it is Hindus who have been 'religiously' making and drinking bhang for thousands of years and 99.9% of the people that drink bhang in order to pretend to be on a higher spiritual level and also those thatdrink it to lose inhibitions and molest each other during, for example, holi are Hindu......The Sikh that has junkie inclinations and capabilities will ignore the 99.9% reality and simply mention the 0.1% (nihungs) in order to give the impression that it is a 'Sikh' thing with a rightfull place in Sikhi.

  4. not all babas are pakhandis. There are many who are true sikhs and are brahmgiani like baba nand singh ji kaleranwale baba isher singh ji kaleranwale, baba gurdev singh ji bhai ki samadh wale, baba isher singh ji rara sahib wale, and many more. All of these sants tries to make people an idol sikh. Don't give all the sants the tag of pakhandi.

  5. There actually are health benefits associated with tobacco, 'Nicotine is an anti-inflammatory agent and has been shown, among other things to prevent and treat Alzheimer’s, as well as delay the onset of Parkinson’s disease.' * At the end of the day the issue is not employ but abuse. If one was to obtain gout by consuming too much food who or what is at fault? The consumer who consumes excessively or the food? * http://sorendreier.com/tobacco-a-forgotten-healing-plant/

  7. Release Date: 8th April 2016 Epic movie on The Martyrs of Nankana Sahib...DEATH COULD NOT STOP THEM. The SAKA constitutes the core of the Gurudwara reform movement started by the Sikhs in early twentieth century. The interesting part of this saka (demonstration or agitation) is the unprecedented discipline, self-control and exemplary patience displayed by the peaceful Sikh protesters even in the face of extreme barbarism. Even the national leaders like Mahatama Gandhi had to acknowledge in no ambiguous terms the glory and the prestige which the peaceful and passive resistance of the Sikhs had brought to the India's Struggle for freedom. Gurdwara Nankana Sahib was managed by Mahant Narayan Das in the early 20th century.. Money-power made the Mahant corrupt and he started using the Gurdwara's money for wrongful deeds. The Mahant was a very desolute and wicked person who also used Gurdwara premises for immoral and highly objectionable activities. . When Mahant Narian Dass was asked to reform himself, he started making preparations to oppose the Panth (Sikh community) instead. On feburary 20,1921 there was a peaceful protest against mahant narain dass to hand over nankana sahib back to the sikh community but he got all the protestors brutally killed with indirect help from britishers. How Nankana sahib was finally freed from the clutches of mahant after this incident forms the crux of story. In political significance, it comes next only to Jallianwala bagh massacre of April 1919. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=839491232843053&id=592011664257679 https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=845808335544676&id=592011664257679

  10. Interesting about you been offered ragra. On my visit to India this year, I enjoyed listening to the Kavishri Jatha at the Gurdwara. But afterwards I was told that they take some stuff then they sing. ? Which is a shame, as why can't they perform without it.

  11. What ? What you trying to tell us ? Cat got your tongue ? Not have any views of your own ? Not capable of articulating your own views ? Your post is a complete mystery but......if you're trying to use a mortal 'man's' ideas and beliefs about our 10th master using drugs....and pass it off as definitive proof of the truth even though you know that all mortal men are inherently flawed, I will retort with some fundamental truths: Guru ji was clear and adamant about the strict ban on all intoxicants. Only a mentally ill mental inpatient of a facility catering for the mentally ill with a big sign on the front saying 'Drop off your mentally ill here' would argue that bhang does not intoxicate the mind. The Sikh art of war requires extreme close hand eye co-ordination. The use of bhang will completely and utterly destroy hand eye co-ordination...thus rendering the user as useful in the battlefield as a hamster running in the grand national. This, somewhat, explains why these so called 'nihungs' have not actually fought in any of our battles for the last 100 years but choose instead, to run and hide every time the battle has come to us, and choose instead to be pretend warriors pretending to be battle ready, afraid of hard work (as that 'bhang' destroys a man's natural ambition to work hard, earn and go forward in life) and get high and throw hindu holi colours at each other at hohala mohalla in gay abandon.

  15. WJKK WJKFjust do some research on the net about the word "pistol". It will tell you all you need without including any controversy about the Sri Sarbloh Granth. Once you have read the etymology, you decide what you think. Like the OP said, in the museum of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh, it states "Pistol". Why not handgun? Our Guru Sahib Ji spoke many a language.

  16. Show us historical documents by by historians in Punjab from back in the day using the word pistol in their writings. Pistol is not a common word, not even today. The British used words like firearms or flintlocks. Probably used Gun. Go read old books written by the Brits.

  18. You have zero evidence of this lol. So many Sikhs throw around "agent" accusation like its no big deal. Dont like someone? Label them an agent! Of course now youll accuse me of being a follower of these men, but im not a follower of ANY baba, I just support rationality.

Anti-Dasam and Anti-Amrit parchaar had so much negative effects that brainwashed people starting having doubts on SatGuru. I hope Sangat will open their eyes one day and realise how they were fooled by fake professors.

  23. Is it refreshing for you to hear how Trump plans to kill innocent Muslim women and children? This is beyond blunt, it is being a terrorist. Trump says other countries are stealing jobs away from Americans. Fact is Trump uses other countries labor to cut cost himself. Basically, he is saying.....I can do whatever, but others will do as I say. Look at his unethical and criminal acts of going bankrupt 4 times just to avoid taxes. If he had paid the taxes these proceeds could have went toward the veterans. Yet he claims the promblem is the illegal Mexican who makes less than 20g a year. How much tax can you collect from a person who makes 20g a year? If he was for the people, then he would not be against universal healthcare. This is the biggest misconception Trump repeats......he does not need political donors. Yet in the past, he repeats to support (pay outs to them) political parties just so he can increase his fortunes. He has everything to lose. Say he wins, the following year without anyone doubt he will lose because he doesn't have the knowledge to run a country. He will be worse than Bush. So when he is out of power he will need political parties to run his businesses as he does today. Say he loses, then he will go back to begging as he does today. He begs at the doors of republicans and democrats. Do your research. Trump in the 80s didn't even want to see black people working in his hotels when he was there. Those who are politically correct have a reputation to look after, so they will help minorities. Trump has already showed us he is a bigot and will stop at nothing to hurt minorities. He has nothing to lose in the sense of his reputation.

Parent's attitude, understanding of their child's needs, love, support also help children with disabilities to a large extent.. Acceptance from people outiside the home, at Gurudwara is very important and he is very much entitled to respect just as any son/daughter are.. Other members may be able to help you more.. I do wish you all the very best as you see you son progressing amazingly well with Maharaj's Aasraa! Thanks for sharing.. Bhull chuk mauf karna ji.. :waheguru:
