  1. It will do us better if we take a more positive attitude rather than picking negatives. Its the first time I've seen something like this. I think its great! It shows unity between different groups of the Sikh panth. Many Mahapurkhs have said that squabbling on a jatha level is frowned upon "up there" and this work looks to fix this. Yes, there are many other great GurSikhs Mahapurkh that have been left out. However, the GurSikhs included in the work are dependent on the sharda of the individual/family who has commissioned the work. If possible, can we name all of the GurSikhs included in the work? The obvious two are Sant Jarnail Singh Jee Bindrawale and Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh. I think Bhai Rama Singh is in the panj pyarey behind Maharaj.

  4. Does this family like Nihang Singhs, looks like they were excluded from this Harimandir Sahib pic for more favoured personailities! Hopefully harmonium in harimandir Sahib pictures will be rare, it's good to see that pictures were created centuries back to represent proper sikh instruments and well done to Akal Takht jathedaar to start the process for kicking harmonium out from Harimandir Sahib. Good riddance to the colonial era of harmonium at Harimandir Sahib, a very bad representation the panth has made compared to how Guru Arjan Dev ji and sangat greatly promoted Tanti Saaj keertan in Harimandir Sahib.

  5. Let’s try start or increase our mool mantar jaap. Because honestly there is so much sukh beyond any comprehension waiting for us. And what a shame this entire life passes never experiencing it, then being taken by jamdoots to dharamraj. When rather we could experience HUGE spiritual bliss in this lifetime and then merge forever into it. We just need to dig deep, push hard to get past stage 1 of washing our paap first. And it’s so easy with technology today, here’s a brilliant 3 hr jaap. You can have this playing while doing your daily work, household chores or cooking etc.

  6. Daas was thinking, our bodies are temporary and eventually pass, but our souls are eternal. So all gurmukh, sants etc. souls do still exist. But where are they? How magnificent that place must be where they all reside! Anyone who got blessed sangat of a gurmukh soul knows how beautiful it is being near them, how peaceful and bliss. But that place where ALL gurmukh souls of creation reside must be insane anand. Gurbani talks of Begampur (sachkhand) as the realm where all those mukat and liberated souls reside. A gurmukh soul of senior age was asked if he ever had darshan of a particular mahapurkh who passed few decades ago. The gurmukh soul said hanji I was blessed their darshan, but not on this earth, it was in Begampur. They said I was sitting in Begampur, and when said mahapurkh arrived, the whole of Begampur stood up in their respect. SANGAT JI - WE SHOULD ALL DO MOOL MANTAR Day 1 - nothing happens … first the filth inside of us has to be washed off, then Vaheguru ji’s kirpa happens. You see parkash within and everything begins ? Everything is here - just our eye to see it is covered in paap. Guru sahib, sachkhand, mahapurkh, shaheed singhs, devte - it’s all here. Anhad shabad is heard, powers start to come, loads and loads of stuff.

  7. Believe it or not but I'm pretty certain that it was Sant Isher Singh Ji (Rara Sahib) that said peeps back in the days were much stronger and had bigger brains. This is ironic with the times were living in with all the technological advancements and more and more kids excelling in school.

  8. I've come to know a handful of people from the Ravidassia community over the past couple of years. I think they're really good people when you get to know them. They're a bit abrasive at first if you're not that type of personality, but once you become their mate they're loyal and generally a good laugh. I honestly don't know "what they're capable of", though... ?

  12. The only reason it would be wrong is because then the couple do not practice the same religion. It will be hard on their end and their children. How will they raise their children? But then again this all depends on the couple. My great mamaji married a Muslim girl around the partition and he was a great Gursikh and she supported his views. Bakki Bhul Chuk Maaf... I dont know a lot about this but just stating an example I know of.
