i think the best test to judge who was dodgy and who was not, is how they ended up. If Talwinder was dodgy, he would not risk all, leave his houses and cushy life in Canada and go and fight in punjab. To go there, he knew he would be shaheed. Also my dad told me Gurdeep singh Sibhia did not give him up. Sibia has cleared his name against all false allegations against him. I think he sued the papers who made the stuff up. Talwinder was at Chowk mehta when he was caught. He was tortured, then put against a tree and shot. I think the only government agents were Zaffarwal and Dr Jagjit Chohan. Both are happy relaxing in India now! Rest of singhs were all solid. :wub:

i agree, he deserves congratulations :wub: :wub: We should encourage him to make more films. For many americans this will be thier introduction to a sikh. There is no harm in mentioning about a dastaar, when we email him. But seriously how many of us wear a dastaar when swimming or diving?? I just wear a really small keski, to stop my kesh opening up, and hold my kanga in place. Look at bollywood, they were really dodgy patkas, and in one film, the old sikh guy just had his hair tied back like a woman. I like this sardar ji. Anyone got his email?

so what does it mean to be AKJ? I think it means the same as being Taksali, sant samaji, nihang or whatever. It means you believe in their core principles. So in the case of AKJ, this is wearing keski for all females and males. Listening to akhand keertan, lots of simran, strict rehit and standing up for things like Khalistan and Guru Granth Sahib ji. It means being a more strict khalsa. :wub: :wub:

Every singh i have met from AKJ is cool. I find they are more panthik than most. AKJ, Taksal, etc, they are all panthik. We should not associate them separate from Khalsa, they are probably best Khalsa singhs. Modern history proves it. :wub:

They wrote a wicked letter to the President of India, before they were hanged. I read it on tapoban. Everyone should read it.

When I got interested in sikhi, nangs told me not to read it. They always slagged him off. I read it after I met another singh. Best sikhi book I have read. :wub: Totally changed how I looked at sikhi. Realized what a Singhs jeevan is, and these nangs are jokers. Everybody needs to read this book. :TH:

I spoke to some AKJ singhs. They said the organisers know the AKJ is not supporting it. I think youth like us who have got complaints should just ring the people whos name is on poster. Next time they will think twice before supporting gurdwaras with wedding halls.

I think something like a protest letters should be sent to the producers. :wub: It will at least make them think twice next time. :T:

Baba Nihal singh is the only nihang who has done any real seva since 1978. He also has mad respect for Bhai fauja Singh and Sant ji. Uk nangs always slag him off, coz he does not eat meat, drink booze, and get high on bhang. He follows normal rehit. :TH: Out of all the nihang dals, his dal is the one with the proper singhs.

Not all akj panj pyares insist on sarb loh bibek. I know in Uk, they do not insist on it. At tapoban or india they do. I am also thinking of taking amrit. If you are worried about it, take it at UK, vancouver or california. Then in future when you are ready to keep bibek, then keep it. It will not be hukam on you from the panj pyares. Not all singhs are sarblohi. But it is a good rehit to keep if you can. I would wait till I am right, then keep it for life. I think it is not good to start it and then stop later. Start it when you are 100% ready. :TH:

I wish these people would stop using the AKJ name. When none of main singhs are turning up, why use the name? Just stick to the sadh sangat thing. Beadbi is beadbi. No tolerance policy is required!

I have heard this all before. Loads of people have debated with niddar and left him standing. As gurminder said, his knowlege is very poor. Niddar always twist things his way in his classes. I think it is time all the main youth in uk who can speak to openly debate with niddar. Let the youth see how bad he is. Anyone can brainwash someone new. Let him debate with the youth who have knowledge in BOSS, AKJ & Taksal. To iron arm - niddar has called Sant jarnail and Bhai Fauja singh NANGS! Looking at them and him. They are sants and he is the NANG! :wub:

sikhs need to start making their own fims to promote sikhi. bollywood is sometimes abused by hindus for thier agenda. look at harbhajan maan. With two films he has made punjabi films cool again. He is doing a god job promoting punjabism. In the same way sikhs have to come forward and promote sikhi. Some singhs in chandigarh made some films. A woman in America made a good documentary called mistaken identity. But she got no support from gurdwaras.
