  4. its good what you done, its 'typical punjabis' because when you stand up to them and say its wrong, they say stuff like " emhee vadda gyanee ayaa ' haha or something like that. theyre not educated in sikhi like you are so theyre going to beleieve what they know. but dont give in and dont let them play baani where such manmat stuff like alcohol , meat etc is present

  6. JAP JI SAHIB JI AMRIT VELA SACH NAAUN WADAIYEE VEECHAAR main roj hi alarm band ker ke sou jana haan kinna stupid haan main Hey thats a convinient Thukh to use here but i REALLY hope you don't mind me correcting you (it probably aint your fault - you may have just copied the Thukh from STTM) but why do we pronounce 'VAAVEH' as a 'W' when it comes to pronuncing in english? It may not change the meaning of Gurbanee in this case but if you look at PLENTY english Gutkeh and other books which explain Gurbanee - just by pronouncing a letter or word wrong it changes the whole meaning of the Shabadh. No offence geeza I don't want to preach but am just saying  how could he have coppied it from STTM when sttm only does the vaava's as v's, and you have to type the v letter to get a vaava out. a(n)mrith vaelaa sach naao vaddiaaee veechaar - thats how it is on sttm
  7. Awgy Awvq isMG ju pwvY ] vwihgurU kI Pqy bulwvY ] aagae aavath si(n)gh j paavai || vaahiguroo kee fathae bulaavai || Whenever he sees another Singh approaching at a distance. He greets him with 'Vaheguru Jee Kaa Khalsa! Vaheguru Jee Kee Fatheh!!' "Sat Sri Akaal" is taken from the Jangee Naraa (War Cry). Sat Sri Akaal is not a greeting between Sikhs. Remembering the Khalsa, it's creator (Vaheguru) and remaining in high spirits is what the Fatheh was given for and why it is the necessary greeting. Most people changed it to "Sat Sri Akaal" because they did not want to take Amrit and hence the world "Khalsa" did not feel appropriate for them. Ask any older person why the Fatheh has faded. It is simply because people drifted away from the basic Rehat of taking Amrit. Anyone can say Fateh to anyone else. The reason for saying the Fateh was so that it brought you into high spirits and reminded you of Vaheguru and the Khalsa. If you are not Amritdharee it should also ring a few bells!! And no, it is not just for men. Singh is used in the Rehatnama to represent a Sikh of the Guru. fateh is the way to gooooooooooo

  13. you say that you would never do alcohol etc like other people who normally trim and start doing it, but youre amrithari, and it would be a bujjar kurehit for you to cut your kesh so that means you would have to go pesh infront of punj pyareh and ask for forgivness...or are you saying you want to leave being an amrithari but start living a 'typical' sikh life, where you have a trimmed dhari and a dastaar? there must have been a reason in the first place why you wanted to take amrit ( unless you wer forced ) you cant just let go of the biggest blessing ever! ' the only thing that would be different is that i trim ' the only??? thats huge, youre cutting such a blessing from guru ji, your cutting kesh that have amrit inside them! and you commit a bujjar kurehit by cutting your kesh so its basically the same thing as people who drink alcohol there is a reason why we get facial hair , makes sikh look unique and out there...
