urgh... i'm sorry to say this, but it sounds like such an islamic view.... i HIGHLY doubt that Khalsa Raj means only Sikhs who walk around in baana and all that. I'm still convinced that it means when the world is rid of corruption... when the pure shall rule... all this about it only being Sikhs and stuff.... it doesn't make sense, especially considering everything else that Guru's said through their times... something this blunt doesn't seem straight... there's gotta be more to it than just "if you're amritdhari and you're all that, then you're gonna be part of it". this isn't questionning the amritdhari portion, i'm just saying i don't think that it applies only to Sikhs.. it just seems that since the so much of baani is in metaphorical terms, there's gotta be a bit morethere....

Japmans,

The def of a Sikh is somone who has taken amrit, not anyone else. Keeping only your hair doesn't make one a Sikh. That person that has taken amrit is pure because he/she is commited to Waheguru.

You make it sound like being amritdhari isn't a big deal. Khalsa Raj means the Khalsa (amritdhari) shall rule, also respecting and protecting those of other faiths.

WoW so How many of you are actually doing something about Khalistan, and i do not mean posting on a website, spreading your khalistani views. How many of you are politically involved??

UNDERSTAND THIS INDIA WILL NOT JUST HAND OVER KHALISTAN (punjab) to SIKHS. IT IS FAR TOO LATE FOR POLITICAL REASONING WITH INDIA. How many people actually want Khalistan beside 99% of u that post on this site? Im talking about those who are living in Punjab and they are the ones who will have to endure Almost ALL of the Pain of their Sons who will either be forced to dragged into this war. You living in America and UK have got this escape route, that when and if things start to get too rough for you people you will run to your countries. Some will stay, but Most will run.

What Gernail Bindranwala wanted to do was different than what his follower did. He stated in one interview when he had locked himself inside of harmandir Sahib that mistakes have been made and the orders that he gave were not followed at times, those under his command did what they wanted to do.

AS someone said, This is like Palistine/Isreal in the Brewing. Are you a small percentage who ACTUALLY want Khalistan and i do mean its a small percentage, because in a crowd there are only a few with the desire, most are there just to fill the spaces. As soon as trouble starts, it no longer becomes a khalistani desire, but the desire to survive individually. There will be those who will sacrifise their lives for Khalistan, but those like I said are very few.

If there is a Peacefull Solution to Khalistan, which i highly doubt there is. I am all for it. But are you willing to speak for the ma

ny who don't want their kids to be raised in a Terroristic environment?? and don't tell me it is not going to happen. Punjabi will become a Terrorist Nation. Whether you like it or not You will have a lable upon you as a Terrorist.

Do not confuse this as not wanting Khalistan because of Fear, Take this as being Realistic. I certainly don't want my kids to see their homeland with the fear of whether there is a Terroristic organization operating in punjab funded by the Indian Government. That if they go out in the city, whether there is a bomb in that car. Those are the realistic views.

You want the future of Sikh Kids as it ws in the mid-80s?? If you take a Vote in PUNJAB of how many actually want Khalistan i Bet you there will be less than 25% of the people who want it. Is that enough to start a war??

Raaj Karayga Khalsa, is having the Raaj of Sikhi which is founded on LOVE not WAR.

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

During the seize of 1704 guru gobind singh je said he will give singhs raj in 300 years. 1704 + 300 is 2004. Next year, is also the time sant jarnail singh je will come back. There will be a war. I personally, if satguru allows me to, will go put shaehhedi when sant je comes back. And when raj does come, only gursikhs will get to rule under guru granth sahib je. You shall see. It is time for sikhs to rule. And get ready singhs and singhnias, its time to put shaeheedi.

We must remember that Naam is the only great power that will help us if we want to do anything and that includes shaheedi, has we are empty without the virtues blessed by Vaheguru ji.

Taking Amrit is a must in order to even be recognised as a Sikh. Otherwise Vaheguru ji cannot help us fully to complete our life purpose if we are not following Vaheguru ji's command.

We need to be ready everyday for any twist in our life, whether it be shaheedi, death etc....as Vaheguru ji does things in an instant and can change or do anything regardless of the past.

We shouldnt worry too much about when Khalsa will Raj too...of course its the most amazing thing, but my point being that it is SO vital for us to keep within Sikhi Rehit if we want to achieve anything and fulfil Guru ji's command. IF we all did this, MANY TRUE Sikh's would be visible today.

So if we want Khalsa Raj, it requires our commitment with vaheguru ji's kirpaa.

When we see a Sikh, lets remember to say Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh whether they are at work, school, college, uni, Gurudwara Sahib etc.....

If we want to be anything true, lets have the guts to be a Sikh the whole way.

VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Umm, that's totally irrational, bro. There are plenty of prakash-dara Singhs in Punjab (less than we'd like, but still plenty). No one cares that you are sabat soorat. It isn't 1986. You can walk around in chola, kurta-pajama, or jeans. Whatever. If you want the look @dallysingh101 is referring to, just go into a cheap clothing shop (not a Western-style mall) and buy some shirts for 250 rupees or a track suit for 2000 rupees. You'll get the cheap stuff made in some sweatshop in Bombay.
    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
