When me and my family go to the gudwara there is this old lady that keeps insulting my mom and grandma because of something that had happened in the past. today we went to the gudwara for Guru Nanak Dev ji's birthday (gurbprub i think) and the same old lady said some stuff about my mom and grandma, My mom said lets go outside and talk... lets not do it in the gudwara. so as we start leaving my mom says it again and the old lady gets up but as she starts getting up and following us she says a insult and goes back and sits down. i said lets just ignore her and leave so we just left.

but thats been happening before with my grandma and the same old lady...

so what can my mom do?

She bugs most ppl she knows... the best thing is not even to look at her, just ignore and yesterday she actually pulled someones's suit to stop them but luckily that person got away. Such people just wont leave your back, I feel you should do Ardaas to avoid bumping into her. Talking to such people will only raise your Krodh, and listening to the nindaa is a sin too. She is always at the back entrance so tell your mom to avoid sitting by the doors. I highly doubt she would actually go shout and do Ninda inside while Keertan is going on. I know its hard when it comes to going to the Langar Hall. Just Do Ardaas.

honestly... sometimes u can walk away from the situation.. but sometimes u can't... like if the person is CONSTANTLY harassing you.. then u gotta DO something... i dunno what that SOMETHING is.. i guess it varies on the situation.. maybe have a talk wit her family?.. tell the elders at the gurdwara?... etc...

They dont have to have a word with her but for future occurences and situations, at least you can say you have made "authority figures" at the Gurdwara, alert.

This is a form of bullying and it shouldnt be allowed, especially in a Gurdwara.

The same <banned word filter activated> is happening at the Gurdwara my mum and dad goes but this buddee, is does the same this to my parents as that old buddee is doing to yours. The buddee that is insulting my parents has got the backing of other buddeeya. My parents were so upset when they came home as I goto another G'wara now, I wanted to go back and kick :umm: <admin-profanity filter activated>!!! But my parents stopped me.

I guess hopefully the Jum Dhoots will be knocking on their doors soon and especially to the one that giving your parents <banned word filter activated>! :TH:
