vjkk vjkf. i was wondering if a sikh could wear those "comando" style patkas when doin work, or playin outside, ie. football, basketball..... i dont want this to turn in to a "keski as a kakkar" discussion, because i dont think it is a kakkar, but i do belive it is important. i was just wonderin if u could wear those style of patkas for playin sports?

or u can wear a small keski wit a patka over it which wont allow the dastaar to move..

but if your playing like hockey and ur a goalie (like myself) .. i just go wit the patka (commando style in ur words) .. :TH:

Some think the commando style bandanna is a replacement for a dastaar (it is called commando becasue amongst others the Punjab Police Commandos wear it).

bare minimum jio, which is what you're asking, is keski. thats not saying its a kakaar but if you feel dumalla isnt suitable, wear a keski. dont go for commando style patkas. they arent even patkas.
