3 Cases In Less Than A Week

I don't know if this is all planned, or someone is taking advantages of the loopholes in the Indian justice system, but there have been 3 cases of a Sikh's hair being forcibly cut in less than a week. First it was Inderpreet Singh from Jaipur, Rajasthan who was kidnapped by local goons and his kesh were cut. Today it was on the early morning breaking news that 2 more such incidents have occured. One was Gurdeep Singh from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand who was arrested on Thursday night, and the same night his joora was chopped off. He even showed his kesh on camera. Police say that he was arrested on criminal charges, but Gurdeep denies it, saying it was he who informed the police of the crime. The police also say that he has been arrested many times, and so to seek revenge he cut his kesh himself and is blaming the cops. The 3rd case is Jagbir Singh from Kurukshetra, Haryana who says he was drugged and when he went unconscious his kesh and beard were cut. He is almost bald now. Sangat jee, these 3 cases have come from 3 different parts of India, all from states where non-Sikhs are a majority. These cases seem to be unrelated, but in any case, it does appear that some miscreants are testing our patience. The scenes of Sikhs brandishing swords on the roads makes them laugh and they have decided to have some cheap fun by making such scenes a daily routine. The mere arrest of Arjun Meena, the culprit who dishonored Inderpreet Singh's hair is no lesson to these scoundrels, and I guess the Sikh sangat in India should make sure that anyone who insults our religious sentiments be made to pay a severe price so that in future no one dares to commit such an act. As you may be aware, a mere arrest in India can very well lead to release once the mouths of the officers incharge are filled with currency notes. Some desi methods vouch for a punishment in public so that all those who witness it can understand the consequences and keep away from doing any such acts. Perhaps that is what these culprits deserve. You can imagine how Muslims would react if some official forced pork down the throat of an Al Qaeda terrorist, and these are ordinary Sikh citizens we are talking about. It is time for action and avoid any pre-1984 kind of climate to emerge in India. Please do what you can.

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

Hmmm...is that Khalsa Raaj I see? Yeah, keep going...keep doing this stuff...add more pressure. It is pressure that turns coals into diamonds.

Yeah, bravo...put another nail in the coffin that is India. Khalsa does not get defeated so easily. A sleeping lion can be killed by two hyenas...a woken lion will chase away an entire pack.

So keep it up...I am sure the "rewards" are soon to be at hand.

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

It must be said that the problems that our society face will never end...

...these problems have been there since the beginning of Sikhi.

But this is the reason that we are not going to back down, we will do whatever it takes to protect our faith!

Its not an accident that Sri Guru Gobind said that it is rightous to draw the sword when protecting faith!

I was actually thinking the same thing, 3 cases around the same time that too from the same country. One cases is bad enough, and this is just out of limits. Sikhs should declare an state of emergency or something, and say enough is enough. Seriously, its' making so frustrated just reading it, one of these days now, a bahman, or a sullah is going to mess with the wrong SINGH, and literally call for the end of his life. Enough is Enough now, just like Pritam said if for them us loosing hair is not a big deal, then ending their life should not be a big deal either. :umm:

It was going to happen. BJP ( Bhartiya Janta Party) will not sit and let congress attack them because it can bring their votes down. So, congress state is targeted. It is a matter of shame that how low these politicians can go just for the votes & Election.

Khalistan won't do much. Sikhs need to get united and fight for it. Try to learn politics and how it works. Countries use their intelligence department for a reason. They hire smart people to work for them not an emotional freaks. They work for them when they need them and they use all kind of tactics for it. India has RAW for it and Pakistan has ISI and they both do the same job. The point im trying to make that establishing country such as Khalistan won't help you. Sikhs have freedom in UK, USA & Canada but still they couldn't unite much rather separated more on little religious issues. We Sikhs need to have "Sarbat Khalsa" unity which will tackle all these human rights and other religious affairs for Sikhs.

Watch how intelligence department work. India & Pakistan use their intelligence services with same passion. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8...556832271&q

As much as I like the fact that Sikhs were standing up for their brother in Jaipur and coming out on the streets, there was also a bit of apprehension that a part of the protests were stage-managed and in order to arouse some sort of passion esp after the Mann & Badal fracas in Punjab. And also I had a gut feeling that even if the perpetrator in Jaipur was going to be arrested there was going to be copy-cat incidents seeing how it had 'successfully' aroused passions, the usual miscreants had smelt blood and they felt that this issue had a possible potential for escalation.

There are certain interests who want to see punjab up in flames again after the 'freedom-fighting' in Kashmir has come a cropper, since the very same jihadis who were fighting in Kashmir are now fighting against the Americans and west and are trying to blast their airplanes out of the sky, and since the Americans who were secretly backing jihad in Kashmir and the pakistani punjabis (pakjabis) who were openly backing jihad in Kashmir and all over the world have now understood that this jihad can't be caged in a selected area only and can spread itself onto uncomfortable territories including their own country are now trying other methods to trouble India.

The very same people have teamed up with some people in Punjab and some assets elsewhere and are trying to foment communal trouble in order to open another front against India and keep it weak.

There could be three reasons for it.

Pakistani ISI involvement in it to give it communal color.

Indian RAW intelligence making their move.

It could be from BJP hooligans doing it in Haryana to target congress state.

The same kind of situation have been created during riots. It happened in Gujrat too.

Please watch http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=87...024486145&q and you would know how Government screw their citizens for political issues. These kind of tactics are being used by all countries including India & Pakistan.

Guest PunjabSingh

So far the Jaipur incident has proved to be genuine.

Kurukshetra incident is a false one.Jagbir visited a barber to get his hair cut.

Dont know about Jamshedpur incident since it happened in police custody.

    • We have lamp (or Jyot) the pure unscented candle for a reason. Traditionally, Patis used candle light (jyot), so they could read SGGS in darkness. Light, elec didn't exist. Dhoop is used to attract the "Good spirits" but also keep freshness where Maharaj will be.  Interestingly and coincidentally I heard Sakhi a few dsys ago. During Dasa Pitha's time these souls were roaming the Earth and even Sangat noticed. Maharaj asked them "y u here?" They replied during recitation of SGGS and making Degh they didn't bother lighting candle. THAT WAS THEE ONLY REASON NO GATI WAS GIVEN TO THEM!!!  AUTHENTICITY NOT CHECKED I heard once on YT like 2 days ago.  If u apply dhoop in one room of your house twice a week u will notice a difference esp in the smell and freshness of that room.
    • Sangat ji, With the hot weather as per Guru's Hukm, how can we look after our kes?  First of all the beard! Working in Construction, factory and any other heated environment I UNDERSTAND! At my workplace it's over 32 degree celcius and sometimes we have to lift 20kg ALL! DAY! My tips, regularly shampoo the beard during ishnan. APPLY OIL! The technique of applying oil is by rubbing it thoroughly in the roots. Pay attention to the noise esp on the chin. You will hear this "crosh crosh" noise. Keep rubbing oil until u can't hear it no more! This means the oil has blended in properly.  Second tip on beard, keep an extra kanga in your pocket. Every two, three hours give your beard a proper comb down to get rid of any sweat or stickiness. SECOND BENEFIT! Do this all 12 months every single day your beard will look like it's been professionally groomed. TRY IT! People will ask you "What gel u use? How can yer beard be naturally like that?" You can say all I use is coconut oil or whaeva oil but just comb the beard every 2-3 hours for a minute.  As for the kes, morning time get rid of all the gronjra (or knots - forgotten English word), in the morning. However, during evening comb down make sure you get rid of small remaining gronjra and comb yer hair nice and straight. You will feel soooo so relaxed. Yes our hair will go unnoticed due to Dastar, but our hair demands time and self grooming! So proper combing down, spending a good 15-20 mins most evenings is an absolute MUST!  Most evenings I let my hair down and cover hair with my parna for 2-3 hours so it gets to relax from the tying up.  FINAL TIP! We are Sikhs so we keep fighting and remember this! The tradition of Dastar and uncut hair started in India, where the weather is twice as hot. Everytime we bring this thought in the mind, Guru ji will bless us and make us feel cooled down by a notch.  Fateh.
    • Been so much nindya and attacking Shastarvidiya since the 2000s, however if we look at gatka now it's still mostly as poor and poorly taught as it was back then, still morris dancing moves and still behzti moves in BBC shows about sikhi and vaisakhi. If people were going to attack shastarvidiya, wouldn't have made sense to improve gatka instead and make it more effective? Additionally, the Nihang Singh presence has improved greatly now, and the cracks within the the SGPC and affiliated jatha jathebandis are showing more greatly as panth becomes more knowledgable with dasam bani and itihas day-by-day, so much gyaan which was lost within panjabi sikhs during colonial times. In the 2000s, the groups were able to talk down this bani and  gyaan by associating it with  RSS and hindus, brahminwaad etc. Not working so well now is it? However with gyaan it would be also good for us to try and preserve our martial arts and keertan vidiya as well! More and more crazy keertan videos are coming out from jatha members that are being made fun of and making sangat annoyed and upset, on tiktok and instagram reels.

Being from Punjab, almost every Sardaarji i know (amritdhari or not) sleeps/showers with their hair uncovered. I don't think Guru Sahib asked us to wear Dastar to sleep and I don't think it is in SRM.   The idea of "keski being worn to sleep" is cos in Bollywood films (Bachna Ae Haseeno) Sikh characters usually tie a gol parna when sleeping since the actor's usually Hindu. So they gotta cover his head somehow or he'd have cut hair. Same reason Diljit wore a pagg to bed in the El Sueno vid. Only time they didn't do that was in Gadar with Sunny Deol which just looked odd tbh   What in the world? What sikh or even a decent human would base their knowledge of their culture or religion on a movie industry, that too Bollywood?  Believe me, no sikh ever said, I must cover my head becasue an actor did so in a movie. I've been doing it all wrong, I must start covering mh head because the sikh in that movie did.  Just because every panjabi and sardaar you know, does something, also doesn't make it right..  Follow the guru. And if you have a medical condition, then exemptions can be made.  Just admit it, because of my medical condition, I am not able to follow this rehit. Why are you getting everyone else to drop to your level?
    • Wasn't Guru Arjan Dev's martyrdom on amd always commemorated on 6th June? How come it was 30th May?  Just like 6th June 84, where the likes of Terrorists like Indira Gandhi chose to attack Darbar Sahib where many many innocent Sikhs would suffer, as they went to commemorate Martyrdom of Maharaj.
