I write this article not in awe but as a appreciation to a community " The muslims " who has staged a remarkable comeback from ashes in India since 1947. They are the most discriminated than any other group but still manage to thrive and prosper.

It is a time for introspection for we Sikhs of INDIA.( I have excluded the western sikhs who are doing a remarkable Job in there new country )

I shall deal the topics onder two heads :-

Firstly :- The evidence of there sucess

Secondly :- Reasons for their sucess

Firstly :- The evidence of there sucess

a ) Bolly wood a journey from 1947 to 2006 :- There was a time when the word Muslim was changed to hindoo name such as Dilip kumar , Sanjay kumar etc . Today they are the hottest selling stuff in movieland . They are the makers of so amny movies

Contrast this with Sikh who started with so much good will but have stagnated at Deols and todays Shergill.

b) Technology :- They have done some very good science such as

Rocket science in the President KALAM and his book " Wings of fire "

Wipro a world class software firm

CIPLA a world class drug firm.

3) Indian Idol :- The boy is a Muslim . Sikhs did not even take part in it.

4 ) Diamond Industry :- All the technical part and hard part are done by muslims . The hindoos only trade in it.

5) Increase in population :- One way life rewards is by an increasing number of ones population.

5 ) Political party :- They are the secret behind the success of many political parties with faces such as Ex PM Dev Gowda , Mulayam singh etc.

Secondly :- Reasons for their sucess are manifold :-

1) Nationalist :- They are now highly nationalist and vote with the conscious of nation .

2) Casteless society: They dont really practise caste and abhor people who talk about it. Contrast this with our super hindu attitude of being supra casteist. Our matrimonial stink of it. Our philosophy says equality for the whole mankind and we cant implement it amongst ourself . They in contrast preach equality only among muslims and rejecting other as kafirs.

3 ) Faith in God :- They have a very deep faith in there God ALLAH. We have faith in all the Gods in heaven including ALlah

4 ) Dignity of labor :- They do not tend to degrade any kind of work . We all seem to think that doctors and engineers are the end all profession. You will seldom find Sikhs working as laborer , construction worker etc . We Punjabis Sikhs are just to elitist.

5) Ability to self heal inflicted community wounds due to riots : They have been most affected by riots and progroms than any other group .They are however able to heal themselves and move ahead.

We in contrast keep on nursing and reopening our wounds and live in self pity even when no one is bothered about us .

A child like attitude of ( JHAII MARDAII vintage ) . We keep on asking one comission after other which are given to us like alms .We must learn this art of healing one self from them so that we dont go in long periods of despair after a riot/progrom ( god forbid any more ).

6) Surgical use of force: They have been able to use it with a surgical like precision for their gains.

I have a strong feeling that the

7 ) More number of children :- They have on an average 4-5 children compared to none or one by sikhs .

8 ) Polygamy : It enables smart genes to procreate.

9) Girl ratio : They have a healthy girl ratio compared to ours . Even if our boys want to get married where are the girls left for marrying .See also my thread on " Missing Sikh Girl "on this site

Now we Sikhs have also done well in National walk especially in

Agriculture

Soldiering in 1947,65 ,71

sports

Thank to our farming community. The other groups ( Not a Sikh way of talking strictly ) the ex Khatris , Ramgarhia etc have generally lagged behind in national conscious till recently we got our first PM. After 1984 we have generally been nursing our riots wounds only seeking compensations and justice . Bouncing back after a riot is the bes form of justice because it snubs the person who committed the crime against you as a group. We have made no significant contribution in science , technology , education for our country . Mostly we are shown as bozzards

Now after all the points given for the Muslims sucess is also given in our beloved " Guru Granth Sahib " ( except may be 8 th though there is some evidence that some of our preceding Gurus practiced it.)

We must now leave our past behind as a bad joke. There are now enough opporunity in this universe to look for a golden future for those of us who are willing to exercise their will and take risk.

There is no reason why we cant be smarter than the Muslims

After all our motto is

"Nische kar Apni Jeet karoo " and we are competitive by nature.

For it is said that " Jo Jitee Wo Sikander "

Then only we will fullfill the dream of

"RAJ kAREGA KHALSA"

The survival Kit in India as my perception goes is 4 B’s :-

1. Brains

2. Brawn

3. Babies

4. Bihari like living

You cannot rule unless you have political ground for your people. Our leaders are stooges and misleading everybody. Sikhs success is that they feed the whole country and i think there is no other work which is bigger than that. Sikhs are not behind in all type of fields as you mentioned. They are tons of sikh success cases in Delhi, bombay, ludhiana and other places.

Sikhs are maybe behind because of government rules, sanctions that put on that state of punjab where majority of the indian sikh population lives. Whenever forgein company wants to open their headquarters in punjab, CENTER (delhi) discourage them and label punjab as "DISTURBED" area. Recently, whenever UK Royal family or PM of canada plans to visit Amritsar, center advise them and discourage them to visit by saying "DISTURB" area. Now you tell me how common sikhs can rose to sucdess when outsider of the state is calling your home as "Disturbed".

Majority of the Muslims stayed in India and only Punjab was affected in 47. majority of the Sikhs had to relocate and leave behind their properties.

They are the most discriminated than any other group but still manage to thrive and prosper.

How many laws have been passed by the GOI against them? Did they face what we have since 1947? I think not.

Dalip Kumar did not change his name. It was his name in one of his movies and it became so hit that people started calling him Dalip. Amjad Khan was called “Gabbar” for the same reasons.

Ask Mangal Dhillon about how many people from Punjab work in the bollywood. The numbers will exceed Muslims. But do we really want to work for an industry that mocks our own identity?

Diamond Industry :- All the technical part and hard part are done by muslims . The hindoos only trade in it.

I personally know two families in Punjab who have great business in diamond industry. They do all the technical work.

Increase in population :- One way life rewards is by an increasing number of ones population.

Clearly a foolish statement. Which country is more successful: Switzerland or India? Germany or China? More people doesn’t mean more success. With very low job opportunities, and low income, a person can barely afford to provide food and shelter for 2 kids. Having 4-5 kids and living below poverty line doesn’t make them smart but foolish.

Political party :- They are the secret behind the success of many political parties with faces such as Ex PM Dev Gowda , Mulayam singh etc.

And yet they were massacred in 2001 in Gujrat and faced numerous clashes with Hindus in Bombay. Once again, you provided no sources.

Nationalist :- They are now highly nationalist and vote with the conscious of nation .

They vote for congress so that they can get rid of BJP and save their honor. When Pakistan wins cricket match against India, they dance in the streets and distribute sweets. India won two wars against Pakistan in 65 and 71 because of Sikhs. Still Muslims are more nationalists?

Casteless society: They dont really practise caste and abhor people who talk about it. Contrast this with our super hindu attitude of being supra casteist. Our matrimonial stink of it. Majority of the Muslims marry within their own caste. Have you ever seen Pathans marrying with Marasis? They do not have caste system like Hindus do but your family background (marasi, jatt, gujjar, pathan) makes much difference.

So do Sikhs but Allah Sikhs believe in is not the same as Muslims.

When Sikhs first came to western countries, do you think they only worked as engineers or doctors?

First you must give some definition of what “healing” means. If it means to forget about our history then that will never happen. If you think Muslims have forgotten about 2001 then must you know that many of cases charged by Muslims are still pending in the courts of Gujrat. Second holocaust and elimination of 50% of our population did not stop us from taking over Punjab after 3 years. History becomes part of our Ardaas and we will seek justice until criminals are punished.

So family planning means nothing to you? Having more kids in India means increasing population which compared to the land is already too much. Job opportunities are not increasing, education is getting more expensive and so are the necessities. Keeping this in mind a smart person would have less kids so he can at least get them some education and provide them with proper amount of food.

What a way to justify practice of inequality. It is a scientific fact that marrying within the same race will not produce smart genes as opposed to marrying the hybrid. One Punjabi married to a non-Punjabi will produce smarter genes compared to an Indian married to an Indian.

We have made no significant contribution in science , technology , education for our country . Mostly we are shown as bozzards

Punjab used to be at the 2nd level in India and now it is at 5th. This is not our fault as students do not have any types of scholarships and jobs opportunities. Reservation system has hit us hard. Indian government controls the education system which focuses more on ancient civilizations rather than modern theories. If you want to see our success then look at Sikhs in the western countries.

We must now leave our past behind as a bad joke. There are now enough opporunity in this universe to look for a golden future for those of us who are willing to exercise their will and take risk.

I really don’t know what the heck you are talking about? What past are you referring to? In my opinion the entire subcontinent is just a “bad joke”.
