Dasam Granth Bani?

Does anyone or sect follow the dasam granth word for word? Because we are taught only to follow SGGS ji only, but are there people who bow down to dasama granth?

Such as nihungs? Do they bow down and swear by it?

Yes! Nihungs, Damdami Taksal, Sanj Samaj, and RSS all recite and promote Akhand Paaths of Dasam Granth. Nihungs and Taksal place dasam granth besides Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Hajur Sahib and Patnaa Sahib also do Akhand Paaths of Dasam granth. Hukamnamas are also taken from it. I don't know about now, but in the past it was rupess 1500 for Guru Granth Akhand Paath and rupess 2500 for dasam granth Akhand Paath.

Not all the bani in dasam granth is of Guru Gobind singh ji. It had been delibrately corrupted

The main thing is, Waheguru and Guru Gobind Singh ji knew that his Dasam Granth was prone to being distorted, hence why Waheguru did not allow Guru ji, to include his bani to the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Imagine if it had, and then even us Sikhs would have doubts. So forget what you read and bow to the supreme word of God contained in the Guru Granth Sahib ji ONLY!

Who would add it? He was pious so he wouldn't.

Many Guru's didn't contribute to the SGGS.

From what I read of dasam Granth it invokes a lot of emotive feelings and tells alot about the writer, it is clearly not wholely written by Guru Sahib but most probably by hindu converts to Sikhism who still held strong views about idol worshipping, women and doing to muslims what they had done to them. I suspect it was corrrupted immediately after the death of Guru Gobind Singh ji during the era of Banda Singh Bahadur who massed alot of destruction (such as the sacking of the town of sirhind) and targetting other enemies/persecutors of Sikhs of the time. Those verses would have attracted many hindus to the cause of fighting who already had an eminity with the muslim oppressors. I've seen a very old battle flag standard of a battlion of the of Khalsa army which had a hindu goddess (probably durga) printed in the middle of it.

from what i understand the reason that guru gobind singh didnt add his bani in Guru Granth Sahib was because Guru Granth Sahib talks about Waheguru, god almighty and dasam bani talks about dasam pita. aab mai apnee katha vakhanu.

According to research done by Punjab University, they state that only Granth present in Punjab until around 1800s was Guru Granth Sahib Ji. They say Dasam Granth wasn't there. John malcolm, who was told to write about Sikhs said that at the present time, there is only Granth for Sikhs now but they will have another granth in the future. Well, now there are 3. Maybe more to pop up in the future.
