What Do You Think? Should People Express Religion Freely?

turban covers a sikh's unshorn hair. It isn't just a symbol. It has practical purpose.

The cross is fine with me. People can wear whatever they want. What irks me is that people compare apples to oranges. If Christians are denied the right to wear the cross they need to focus on other symbols which are allowed not practical things such as the turban for sikhs. Now turbans on Muslims, that's different because they aren't covering unshorn hair. they actaully got a buzz cut underneath.

peace.

I think Christians should be allowed to have a cross, I mean there is no difference between a daastaar and a cross. I think they are both symbols of their respective faiths and should be treated with respect.

ones a necklace the other is a head covering..

one is compulsory the other is optional...

spot the difference

interesting point though..

British Airways said company policy said employees must wear jewelry, including religious symbols, under their uniforms.

"This rule applies for all jewelry and religious symbols on chains and is not specific to the cross," the airline said in a statement.

Sat Sri Akal!

What's wrong with people today? Don't they know their own history. Guru Gobind Singh made it compulsory that Sikh's have to wear a dastaar. If these Christians can show me where Jesus Christ himself said that christians must wear the cross on a chain, then I will support the christioans fully!
