Is There A God

There has to be an element of faith in the belief of God. All this around you is the “khade” of AkalPurkh and as such only those blessed and those who are worthy will achieve realisation of God. If there was concrete proof of God then what would be the need of God?

Let me ask a simple question. Do you absolutely believe in Guru Nanak Dev Ji?

If the answer is yes, then Guru Nanak Dev Ji says “Ek onkaar “ There is one God. There is all the proof you need if you really believe in Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Nothing else matters, the whole world may be on one side, the whole world may call you a fool and an <banned word filter activated> but if you believe in Guru Sahib Ji then that is all the proof you really need ………EK ONKAAR.

Fair enough but that didn't answer my question of

IS THERE A GOD.

I want good points to prove to people that there is a god.

WHT? lol, which <banned word filter activated> wans proof tht God is here? man, he muz be the most unlucky person. neway, God is not a checmical substance tht can be tested thru sum chemical reaction etc. The biggest proof tht God is here is simply the complexity of everything b4 ur eyes, the universe etc...man, i have so much to say but i juz realised tht there cant be a way to TELL sum1 ke, bandiya, rab hai ga wa! lol, gud luck

waheguru ji ka khalsa

waheguru ji ki fateh

here is one of the collection i found over the net...would like to share it with everyone over here...

3 Qns. bout GOD

A young man who went overseas to study for

quite a long time.

When he returned, he asked his parents to find

him a religious scholar

or any expert who could answer his 3 Questions.

Finally, his parents were able to find a scholar.

Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my

questions?

Scholar: I am one of God willing, I will be able to

answer your

questions.

Young man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and

experts were not able

to answer my questions.

Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of God .

Young Man: I have 3 questions:

1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.

2. What is fate?

3. If Devil was created from the fire, why at the end

he will be thrown

to hell that is also created from fire. It certainly will

not hurt him at

all, since Devil and the hell were created from fire.

Did God not think of

it this far?

Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's

face very hard. Young

Man(feeling pain): Why do you get angry at me?

Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to

your three questions.

Young Man: I really don't understand.

Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?

Young Man: Of course, I felt the pain.

Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?

Young Man: Yes.

Scholar: Show me the shape of the pain!

Young Man: I cannot.

Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel

God's existence

without being able to see His shape... Last night,

did you dream

that you will be slapped by me?

Young Man: No.

Scholar: Did you ever think that you will get a slap

from me, today?

Young Man: No.

Scholar: That is fate my second answer........ My

hand that I used to

slap you, what is it created from?

Young Man: It is created from flesh.

Scholar: How about your face, what is it created

from?

Young Man: Flesh.

Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?

Young Man: In pain.

Scholar: That's it... this is my third answer, Even

though Devil and also

the hell were created from the fire, if God

wants,God willing , the hell

will become a very painful place for devil.

God said: "If you are ashamed of me, I will be

ashamed of you."

hope this short story answers ur question

There is no God.

--is there happiness?--

happiness is a term we made up to define an emotion humans, and other animals experience. Are you saying your definition of God is a made-up word for an emotion that we call "peace of mind", "nirvana". If so, thats a pretty valid answer. But i think the Original Poster is referring to a God that is up in the sky and controls things, not a state of mind/energy force/nirvana.

You can not prove God's existence. It's a leap of faith.

How much faith do you have?

I tend to have zero, and consider myself a man of science/reason.

and god is a term we made to define the inifinite, unfathomable, something that cannot be described.

what if i were to say, that the god that is up in the sky and control things is the same that is also a state of mind/energy force.

but i agree with you on one point tho. we cannot prove the existence of god. but just because you cant prove something, doesnt mean it doesnt exist or is a lie. science does not have ALL the answers

well, since your into science, have you studied the human body and it's intricate detail... all it's different systems... which mesh together into a network of cells which act upon each other in ways that none of us could have ever created... when i studied these things, it reaffirmed my faith in god because of these reasons... something greater than us, must have created something so intricate... so microscopic.... trust me, go into the medical profession and then your whole science reasoning can be technically negated...
