Ooooo....I didnt know 20 was a good age for dating. i missed my chance of dating the girl of my dreams. If i say something in Punjabi my post will be reported so i'll stick to english. GROW UP and realize the sole purpose of this human life.

and to the original poster, "going out" is not really cool with sikhi, if you feel there might be a chance for a relationship (ie marraige) get the parents involved.

Basically to the point i am not amritdhari, but i do not cut my hair or eat meat or anything. Me and this girl are really close to each other and i think we will be going out very soon. But she does cut her hair and eat meat. But she does know things about sikhism and khalistan and stuff. What are your opinions on this?

personally, seen that in today's age, arranged marriages don't really work out...people simply don't have the same values that they once did...hence it's important for a guy and a girl to find out what their values are, if they are in common, and if they will be able to help each other on their respective paths...

if you aint amrit-dhari then im not gonna say "dont date at all" cuz its not like this guy follows all the rules of sikhi (sorry, im not judging) but i mean he said that hes close to a "hair cutting" girl ...

gotta give amrit-dharis and non amrit-dharis diff suggestions when it comes to this kind of thing.
