This is where its wrong then, Commitees have the authority of who gets married, if she wants to marry a white man then go to a registry, the danger is on the sangat, just imagine a young sikh "look mum that girl is marrying a gora so it must be ok if we allow it in a Gurdwara.

This type of stuf is happening everyday, where sikh girls have been mentioned converting to Islam, the above case mentioned could be classed in the same frame.

Converting to Islam is obviously going to be seen as a worse case scenario due to the history of the mughal's and the current situation, but we have to also do something to stop other areas and issues effecting Sikhi.

I just wanted to clear that lets not forget this is also happening with the male gender, we should do whatever can be done to help Sikhi in these situations.
