Haumei is not Ahangkar

Because of Haumei ---> Kaam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh, Ahangkar exist in us.

The Panch doots are different from each other, but are on the same level.

If we read Gurbani, we will realize Guru Sahib mentions Haumei more than any other vikaar.Do you realize?

The ^above^ salok by Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Maharaj posted by P v2 is one fine example.

Also , take note. Bhai Gurdass jee said in his Vaara:

Vaheguroo , Gurmantar Hei, JAP HAUMEI KHOOEE.

The stress is more on eradicating Haumei, which is the root cause we are seperated from our SOURCE.

also please use references from gurbani to show one single instance where any "good" of the 5 chor are mentioned

the 5 chor are to be defeated. bir ras is NOT krodh, nor any manifestation of krodh.

we should not have attachemt to our family, lobh is not needed to live.

kaam is the desire for sexual pleasure. that is not needed for procreation

the aim of a gursikh is to defeat the 5 chor

recognise your origin means recognise that you came from vahiguru and that is our final and true destination

also just by saying "i am the worst, i commit many paaps, i am nothing" does NOT necessarily mean that you are humble and devoid of ego. if you do not belive in what you say, then it is just lies and another form of ego by making people think youre humble
