These singhs were going in a fiat car sudenly some local people attacked them it was a routine during those days to hummilate the sikhs and one of the singhs was dragged to the police station but when SI incharge pulled the KESH OF Singh he snathed the revover from the officer and gunned down all 4 cops his other 5 singhs came and took him away then a hugh ppolice force backed by paramilatary forces came even local people with their weapons surrouded the singhs the singhs had 2 AK-47 besides weapons looted from slain cops soon 10,000 forces I am excluding 15-20,000 local mob also attacked the singhs .The singhs fought running and close gun battles for 7 days and nights official sources gave the figures of dead as 14 securitymen and 13 memes of local mob. 2 SINGHS BELONGED TO BATALA ,OTHERS TO U.P. THEIR MOTIVE REMAIN UNKNOWN WHY THEY WENT THERE.

It is the same incident it happened in Nawabgang in West Bengal it created big headlines for 2 weeks how 6 kcf and kaf singhs fought for such a long time .One such encounter took place in1987 in Baroda in Gujarat and another in 1992 in DELHI where a Babbar khalsa Singh for 7 hours fought the 1000 cops and walked away like a winner but his relatives were hurt.
