its 1428 in the standard version, but some birs outside of panjab have more pages as they include other texts such as Sukhmana sahib, Hanuman Natak etc

sukhmana sahib is not part of dasam bani, its bani from sri guru granth sahib ji maharaj

the official number of panne for sri dasam guru granth sahib ji is 1428

There is a Sukhmana Sahib written by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji which is different to the one written by Sri GUru Ram Das ji.

Malkouns Ki Vaar Patshahi Dasvin is about the Khalsa. Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji mentions parts of it during the Katha of the Vaaran and Vidhek

There are many other compositions such as Uggardanti and Gobind Gita which can be found in the saropps of the Sri Dasam Granth. However after a 150 years of different saroops the jathedars and mahants (sants) got together and made a compilation of the Sri Dasam Granth to standardise it just as Uthman did with the many copies of hte Quran to make a standardised version

Why was sukhmana, malkauns ki vaar, hanuman natak left out? i guess the scholars present had no doubt that they were not written by dasam patshah himself.

If we move 50 years forward research was done again and scholars turned against charitropakhyan, hikayat.

Last year ragi darshan singh disclaimed the whole granth. This is about getting rid of puratan maryada. The neo-nazi singh sabha canada wants only one version.

Hanuman Natak was not included in the Dasam Granth due to it not being Guru Gobind Singh Ji's composition it was written by Hirde Ram as i stated earlier.

The other compositions were left out not due to them not being considered the authentic works of Guru Gobind Singh Ji which they are but due to the size of the Granth. They did not want the Granth to be in and greater size to that of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and for this reason it has 2 less pannas than the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The Gobind Gita, Malkouns Ki Vaar, Mukat Marag, Sukhmana Sahib, Uggardanti and many other bani were placed in smaller pothis to read

There is no doubt in the puratan Sikhs and the Sant Samaj of today that these are the works of Dasmesh Pita

Hanuman Natak was given as a gift to Guru Sahib. Other bani's not in the standardised version are Sri Bhagauti Astoter.

In terms of the page number, it just depends on the size of the writing, inclusion of illustrations etc. But yes, the standardised version has 1428 Ang.

could you direct us moorakhs to the Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Jis Katha of the Vaaran te Vidhek?

and any documents containing the Gobind Gita, Mukat Marag, and any other banis that were placed in other pothis? please?
