go look at inidra gandhi airport and amritsar airport. so many NRIs, many of them khalistanis, visit punjab so much and so often that another airport is coming up in Mohali.

do you know how many NRIs own land in punjab? almost every NRI has a grandmother, a father, a mother, a cousin, an uncle, a freind, etc etc living there.

do you think kalistanis have no ties to punjab? your mistaken.

peace.

I think the question was more along the lines of 'would you leave your home in the diaspora to live permanently in Khalistan if it was to be created.

whats the point in having a distinct Khalsa look if you live in a country where everyone looks the same.. ? It will become a normality and there will be no mental "challenge" in keeping the sikh apperance

This is very foolish statement. According to you let all Sikhs suffer till eternity instead of letting them live a peaceful life so that they too can flourish. Khalsa image is the real image of Waheguru and everyone must keep it regardless of where they live. Why should Sikhs face mental challenges for keeping the roop of Guru Sahib? Why not face the inner challenges of five 'chorrs' and fight them? Khalsa Panth is like a big family and if you think there shouldn't exist a country in which all look the same then no Sikh household should exist where all look the same (have Khalsa image). Right? Why do you think monay or non-Sikhs will not live there or will be forced to keep kes? Do you not know about the rule of Baba Banda Singh Ji, Misls and Maharaja Ranjit Singh? Sikhi is a way of life and everyone in the world should adopt it. Sikhi is for everyone but you for some reason want to keep it limited so that it doesn't become "normality" and want to have Sikhs suffer all the time. You can decide to stay in a non-Sikh country and have your kids suffer through high school and face problems for wearing Kirpan and face discrimination but don't apply your illogic on the entire Panth. We do not need your foolish opinions. The topic is about whether one will move there or not and not asking what one thinks of Khalistan.

baba ji says that khalistan is not the name of some country, khalistan is not the name of some piece of land that the sikhs will get from the goverment or anything. khalistan is the name of the earth. when kalgidhar maharaj does kirpa, he will give his khalsa the whole world, aka khalistan. and that time is comeing singho.....we need to start doing some serious abihaas if we wanna be a part of that time......

NRI's shouldn't all move back as the influx of foreign money would keep the economy going.

Visit a dhaba around winter time in punjab and you can see all the "valaiti" folks, showing off their gold chains, jazzy B hair styles, spending thousands of rupees on a meal.

they do some serious shopping, with the women from engand, canada, america, etc buying suits for like 50,000 rupees each. you see NRI's opening up hospitals for the poor. adopting villages and updating cremations grounds by donating freezers to preserve the bodies until they are cremated.

the existance of a khalistan, which currently has a population of over 24 million people(assuming just the present state of punjab), doesn't require all 2 million odd NRI's all moving back.

also,

if you think only NRI's support khalistan, then your mistaken. over 200,000 sikhs, from india have been eliminated for being "terrorists", now if i'm not mistaken, that's a whole lot of darn terrorists.

how may sikhs died for independence from Britain? it was not even close to the figure who died in the name of khalistan or were killed in its name. so india gets independence, why didn't everybody stay in india? why are so many indians living abroad? they all yelled for india to be free, why aren't they willing to live there? why the hyposcrisy in thinking when it comes to a sikh homeland?

also,

the people being caught for being khalistanis these days, none of them are from abroad.

peace.

ALL OF YOU ARE CRYING FOR A SEPERATE SIKH NATION KHALISTHAN BUT IF WE GET KHALSITHAN WILL ALL OF U PPL SHIFT FROM UR CURRENT LOCATIONS...LEAVE UR BUISNESS...UR SETTELMENT...AND COME TO LIVE IN KHALISTHAN?

The population of the Jewish Diaspora is almost twice as much as that of the Jews inside Israel. Are you suggesting that Israel is not a valid state for this reason alone?

If not, then state your point.

I would definately sell up and move in!!

I've been thinking about this recently and if Khalsitan is ever made it will become a sort of Utopia like nowhere else on the planet the whole country will just be soo peaceful and one will never want to leave and because of this Utopian image people from abroad will want to move maybe even famous people and rich people the land prices will soar and the economy will be solid.
