Room Where Guru Gobind Singh Ji Were Joti-jot

To the above post : Singhson - you have much logic in your post.

However : Quote(myself) : This when the lady goes in and gets sick could just be hearsay. This is very much possible and as mentioned before Guru's power and presence is limitless.. but the fact only 1 person can go in makes it look kind of funny.. Thats all

Quote (your reply) :

Even if the lady did go in (with good intentions of course) why would she get sick? Why would Guru ji do that to her?

Sorry I put my post out wrong, I didn't mean that GURU ji did this to the lady(infact I myself think that some lady going to a holy place would never get this done to her - hence it sounds kind of bs and funny), when I said Guru Ji's power and presence is limitless I meant on the whole room being there.

Also the panth is equal, and I didn't mean any druggy can go inside etc(and its not some place you would just go and "hang out" either. So I don't see the problem of people doing darshan of such a place either. My opinion though you don't have to agree) - some guy with rehit etc would be nice. However you can't decide if a person is good enough to do something or not ,only mahraj does this and that jathedar going in there is probably chosen by the people around him etc but not Guru Ji. This isn't no disrespect to the jathedar or anything. ^^,

Oh and sometimes I might type things which I don't think about - im only human please forgive me :)

VaheGuRooo Jee Kaa Khalsa | VaheGuRoo Jee Kee FATEH!

My post was merely a reply to your post, JaGGaJaTT - Nothing personal! :)

What I was trying to point out was that if there was a free for all to go inside the room, people that not necessarily under the influence of alcohol/drugs, but users, would be able to go in there too. Personally, I wouldn't want that. We already have people come to our local Gurdwara with obvious influence and nothing gets done about it even though there are signs put up :@

Put it this way, everybody gets darshan of the room each wall has a door for you to view inside. The room is a small square enclosure with Guru Ji's kalgi, shastar, guns etc in the middle. I don't know what is under the ramala etc....thats for others to decide! Sangat is literally 1-2feet away from the middle of the room and get to do their matha tekna. Everything inside is washed daily and is kept clean. It would be near impossible to 'police' the room with delicate things that could be easily damaged. You just have to go there for yourself and see how it all operates. To be honest, I felt the same way as you before I went - now I understand why it is great the way it is. I wanna go back already :)

The jathedar is a fantasic sevadar and absolutely the right choice. I think he has been doing seva there now for 8 years or so. Doing what he does takes a lot of dedication, and he has sacrificed everything for it. He only gets 2-3 hour sleep every single day before waking up and heading to sachkhand and doing seva.

At the end of the day, somebody has to do the seva, and he hasn't stepped a foot wrong yet :)

not funny, im not stupid enough to question the power of guru maharaj unlike some people on this forum and i was told this because it was seen happening with my mothers own eyes but seeing some1 has already clarified why it happens i think its rather stupid u make this comment here. Obviously alot of sewadars at sri hazur sahib like to tell tales which is why my mum was mislead to believe the room has darshan of dasmesh pita. FATEH

It is true that Guru Gobind Singh Ji did say that those who built something in memory of Guru Sahib at Hajoor Sahib (the Takhat Sahib), his/she family/relatives will come to an end. speaking to the gursikhs at hajoor sahib, it was Pyaare Daya Singh Ji (jathedar panj piaare), who made something small in memory of Maharaj. As a result, all his family/relatives came to their end in punjab.

they came to an end? i know people who are decedents of pyaara bhai daaya singh ji. the lineage can be traced.

I could be wrong, but as far as I know, Bhai Daya Singh Ji didn't marry and so couldn't have any descendants.

Until Maharaja Ranjit Singh built the Gurudwara, there was a a 'kacchi' building to protect the 'thurra' (this is the now inside the small room where all the shastar are kept). This had been rebuilt after floods etc.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh was told that his lineage would end, but he said he didn't care - it was more important to build a proper Gurudwara out of love for Guru Sahib.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa

Waheguru ji ki Fateh

I have been to Hazoor Sahib Nanded, many times.

Every year atleast 4-5 times.

The room which you are talking is exactly the place which is Hazoor sahib all about.

Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj is there every moment. You can feel him there.

Great is Giani Sant baba Kulwant singh ji who is blessed for his good karam that he is doing the Sewa of Saakshaat Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj.

The Sewa which he does is so tough to even imagine of. but he is lucky one to be there where he is today.

This is not the story but the truth that Once one granthi out of arrogance, tried to step in the darbar(the room u are talking about), & believe me, we know their family, he had paralysis & died of it. His wife suffered a lot & died in a terrible state. His kids still have core. We know them, so this is not a built-up story.

Many people tell that Giani Sant baba Kulwant singh ji should marry & then do this sewa but this sewa is so tough that you can't have your family life. All the electric work, even the gold which is on the walls should be kept by babaji.

The shastra are cleaned & washed daily. This is not an easy job. There hundreds of them.

Dhan are the people who get the darshan of babaji who goes in to the darbar sahib.

I had darshan of 2 previous babajis also.

They are great people born on this earth just to do sewa to Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj.

I can feel Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj when im there. He is with you always.

Thanks
