Sggs Ji In Libraries

I thought of that but i got stuck at thinknig of a way of repectfully bringing SGGS from the library.

Every where i look theres a group of people smoking infront of building entrances/exits

We must focus on how to PROVIDE appropriate access TO prevent inappropriate access. NOT the other way around!

That is what our guruji would command and that is an approach that will work. Libraries represent the pursuit of understanding, and in that they are a symbol of universal tolerance and peace.

Typing leaves tone open to interpretation so we must choose our words carefully in pursuits to deal with libraries.

Purposeful insult to the guruji is those you and i call punjabi brothers/sisters who claim sikhi and bow before guruji every Sunday while drinking Friday and Saturday, those who take a razor to their faces daily while telling their children they are proud sikhs, etc etc.

The library and general public who are not aware of the meaning of guruji to sikhs, are not disrespectful, but unaware. This battle is one of education, not attack. We should have thought of this long ago and come up with alternatives. We did not, so lets take responsibility now, without attacking or blaming those unaware.

For starters this is completely disrespectful. It doesn't matter which language the Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji is in, its still bani. This is probably a global problem because i just checked my schools library's database and they have Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji as well in english translation. We need to do something about this and do it right.

Having books of english translation is ok, how else do you expect people to learn and understand what Guru Sahib is saying. English translation is not bani, its just interpreted and translated by SOMEONE its not the actual word of guru sahib, please don't jump to such conclusions you'll only be doing more harm than good.
