Today in India via direct and indirect a Tax Payer in India could be paying 70% in taxes.

Tax his land,

Tax his bed,

Tax the table

At which he's fed.

Tax his tractor,

Tax his mule,

Teach him taxes

Are the rule.

Tax his work,

Tax his pay,

He works for peanuts

Anyway!

Tax his cow,

Tax his goat,

Tax his pants,

Tax his coat.

Tax his tobacco,

Tax his drink,

Tries to think.

Find other ways

Tax all he has

Then let him know

I've mentioned in my post 'chorri chkarai' and by this I meant corruption. India's bggest bane is corruption and India ranks as one of the top most corrupt Countries.

yea the VAT system everywhere in india inculdes tax in everything u buy, i was surprised when i paid tax with my restaurant bill first time in Punjab, when the VAt system was just started.
