For the first time ever, it seems that Indian media is on our side (at least temporarily). Last night, on NDTV of all places, the presenter asked why nobody has been punished for the anti-sikh riots of 1984. He then went on to extract an apology from Tytler, one of the main culprits.

Tytler and Sajjan have both bowed out of the elections and it looks like their political careers are over.

All this is a result of an ordinary Singh who decided he'd had enough and did something about it. It was only a shoe, but just goes to show we can all make a difference if we get off our backsides.

Clearly people here don't understand politics, by removing the tickets issued to Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar, the Congress party is almost immediately to gain votes.

Congress is sly, by removing both people, they lose nothing, instead stand to gain. However the fact still remains, Tytler got given a clean chit and not guilty verdict. Nothing's changed.

Iv got a nasty feeling that because Tytler was given a clean chit by the CBI, he'll be back in the political arena soon. They'll wait till the matter dies down and then give him the ticket in some future bye-election...
