Fire At Donchester Gurdwara

Recommended Posts

Suspicious fire

Published Date: 07 May 2009 FIREFIGHTERS who spent two hours tackling a blaze in Hexthorpe are treating the incident as suspicious. Four fire engines attended the fire between the Sikh Temple and the Big Red Shed distribution centre on Cherry Tree Road, Hexthorpe at 4.57pm on Sunday.

Firefighters from Adwick, Doncaster and Edlington spent two hours tackling the flames. It is thought the blaze started after a number of plastic loading pallets belonging to the Big Red Shed specialist distributors company were set alight.

What on earth is going on with these fires at british gurdwara's. Why is no committee of our places of worship being held accountable for whats going on?

I'm sure its just a coincidence.....but the Bow Gurdwara....the Manchester Gurdware...AND the Doncaster Gurdwara are Bhatra Gurdware.

I'm sure it doesn't mean anything....Just something to give us food for thought.

Fateh!

What do you think the fact that they are all Bhatre gurdware means? I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm just genuinely curious if you are aware of anything going on in the Bhatra community that might offer some explanation into the situation.

Maybe we should all take this as a sign to trot down to our local gurdwara and make the committee members and sangat aware of these incidents if they do not already know, and to ensure that the gurdwara has adequate safeguards (sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, CCTV cameras, 24 hour security perhaps organised by the sangat).

Regards,

K.

Singh n Ting you really wanna be careful what you say, the Manchester Gurdwara, Sri Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji Gurdwara is not a Bhatra Gurdwara.

If you are labelling that Community as being a type of Community that would set Gurdware on fire on purpose you are gonna get youself into trouble.

If he have views about Castes stick HINDUSANGAT.COM, coz there is know space for this stuff in our Religion...OK

Thas a bit out of order aint it? So your stereo-typing all Bhatre?

And here i thought we were all trying to eradicate caste... we clearly have a long way to go.

Oh and lastly... Sri Guru HarKrishan Sahib Ji Gurdwara is on Sherbone Street, not Cheetham Road. So were talking about a completely differnet GurKar.
