Would u leave a western country and move to india?

Please help me find Advantages and Disadvantages of living in india

Advantages:

-Guru Sahibs Dharti

-Historical Gurdwaras

-People the same color as you

-Can live big with a lil bit of $ becuz it turns into $$$$$$$$ in india

-Do absolutely no house work as you have 2 ladies that come and make food and clean the house and wash clothes!

-layed back no 40 hours of work in a week

-No fear of fitting in

-simple food

-Can be free and travel and stay at Harmandher sahib and do bhagti

Disadvantages:

-Corrupt police

-Health care is not Free( i love u Canada!)

-Huge bugs

-HOT , HOt hot weather (and humid)

-drugs

-Marijuana growing on the sides of the road :6

-Electricity goes out same with cable

-PPl Stare aLOT (i get use to after 2 weeks lol)

-DIfferent culture, (in some cases you may notice how women and ppl of different castes our treated diferently)

hello 'singhsta', as well as a similar name it seems you've got similar thoughts to me to lol. The variety in sikhi there is great, spend sometime in a nihang chauni, sometime at taksal, meanwhile chasing around all the akj smagams at various gurdware! Sooo very many more things you could do, so much you could learn from so many gursikhs, outweighs all the negatives anyday...

you can do your part (in a different way when you are present) to address some of the disadvantages, including many more that you have not listed

firstly let's be specific,you wanna know about Punjab.

India is a big place and living in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore or other Metros is Extremely different from living in Punjab.

If you come from a small town or country side then only Punjab suits you.

Most of the disadvantages of Punjab are not present or not that extreme in above cities

1. Police is not that corrupt and not violent.

2. Health - World class hospital's and affordable Medical Insurance.

3. Get house serviced by Pest control.

4. Install airconditioning and get 24/7 power back-up generators or invertors.

5. Drugs aren't freely available on the street, No sign of Marijuana plants.

6. Have your own Satellite Dish Antenna (Tata Sky, Dish T.v, Big T.V, Airtel etc)

7. The kind of population and fast life nobody gives a damn even if you wear clowns fancy dress and walk the streets.

8. More Equality, respect, opportunities and freedom to women and backward or low financial class.

an advantage would be:

-you could try and be a shining light for your people. You could inspire and try and bring that beauty back to the land of punjab. Many people live their lives without having a passion or a purpose to live for but that would be one hell of a purpose.

-India would toughen you up like you wouldn't believe (mentally)

a disadvantage would be:

-you might miss the comforts of the country you left especially a clean bathroom lol and you'll definitely miss the traffic lights, and other traffic rules since India's traffic is chaotic.
