This website has a bunch of old manuscripts that they are digitizing. You can adopt books to have them uploaded. They have more Hinduism and Sikhism stuff, but it seems to be a Sikh based website. Check it out sangat and letme know what you thin asap. They also have books that are uploaded and digitized. Who made this website?

Sikh Research Institute aka fateh world aka Sojhi aka fateh camp. These are the people who started anti-dasam granth, meat eating camps (and they teach to kids it is ok to eat meat), changing ardas, changing spellings of "gurmantar" and dozens of other strong anti-panth material in their $10,000 and $500/month sunday khala school syllabus. On many occasions they debated that it should be "Guru Manyo Panth" instead of "Guru Maneyo Granth." I may sound like doing chugley or bring the organization down but the above can be verified by anyone who dealt with these texas based organization.

The digital library work is very much needed in our kaum but it should be done by a respectable organization without having dodgy controversy hovering over their head. It won't surprise me that if they do something bad with this (like add one dodge page out of thousands of pages to prove their missionary agenda.)

SRI don't have any links to Punjab Digital Library. What happened is that SRI gave them a lot of support when they first began the project, and some parts of the media thought there was an official link between the two. Punjab Digital Library have no official links to any other body.

There is still a strong association between SikhRi and PDL...PDL was in fact a brain child of SikhRi

It is a kala afghana/Darshan lal ragi group.

I wouldnt doubt the links, the material is questionable at times. Lots of Hinduism stuff.

I find it funny that finally a group decides to save our history, and all people can do is complain about how this group is "not as holy as them". We have so many judgmental people in our Panth, its just sad. We just think that if someone else has different views than ours, then they are atheists and sinners. Its this group mentality, or Jatha mentality, we have that basically says, "If you're not with us, you're against us". Where is the humility? where is the love? We just act like we know everything about God, and if you don't agree with us, then you are Athiests.

I don't agree with some stuff Sikhri says, but thats their own opinion, and everyone has a right to their own opinion. Why don't we all go over there, sign up, and have Darshan of some really old Gutka Sahibs instead of coming on message boards and judging people?
