I'm just wondering, did the person's body levitate? Or did their spirit go out of their body and go upwards?

Spirits do soar but I haven't heard people actually levitating.....I've read Bhai Randhir Singh Ji's autobiogrpahy.

With the number of Gursikhs like mkhalsa on this forum, surely someone amongst the members here has flown.  Will they be humble enough to present themselves to the sangat please.  And if they would be so kind enough, could some of them actually record the event as well.

I am no gursikh. I am not worthy of such a title. I am a hypocrite. I am a criminal. I am a dusht.

But as I can see you doubt the abilities of gursikhs. Is this because you have forsaken sikhi and only worship your 5 leaved guru? For such a person, all you can do is scream and cry and tell those who know the truth that they are wrong, while they sit there with a smile on their face in contentment.

Where in Sikhi does it say anything about levitating? There is nothing wrong in questioning certain things.

take it on faith. ridhi sidhis and brahm gyan are mentioned many times in gurbani.

These things happen. Bhai sahibs books say so as well.

and i didnt say anything about things being better in the old days. There are MANY gursikhs still that I know of even personally taht have such abilities. Big deal. they are no different from you or i. the only difference is they have done more bhagti which we have yet to commit to.

and regarding two huge gursikhs. Most amritdhari sikhs have 2 shaheed singhs with them at all times, they will reveal themselves if necessary.

I saw it myself one time at a Samagum in India. I was about 11 years old and during simran a Singh was about a meter off the ground. I remember it vividly because my dad and his friend were talking about it later as well.

But this is just minor ridhia sidhia...like Mkhalsa said before, the journey is still a LONG way from being over.

Similar to that story from some months back where a girl apparently did Ardas when she was confronted by a rapist.  The girl was not attacked because the rapist 'saw' two huge Gursikhs escorting the girl.

That was a very interesting story Arshi jee.

Yesterday I was listening to Baba Nihal Singh jee Hareeyaanwelaan recording on fort panth khalsa site. There he talks about Shaheedi faujaan i.e. the unseen, gupt Shaheed Singhs. He mentions that where ever there is parkash of Siri Guru Granth Sahib jee, there are shaheed singhs there. He also writes that a rehitvaan singh always has two shaheed singhs with him and depending on the rehit and avastha the number of shaheed singhs increases to 5 and even up to 25. That was pretty interesting stuff.

if somebody has that kind of power, they wud control it and never ever ever show it

thats a true sant

when sant baba harnam singh je saw the light

theres was light he coud se, and light coming off of him, because he was absored completley into vaheguru je

so he asked vaheguru je to take away the llight so no one wud know anything

so, its most likley that gurmukhs dont go flying around at smagamas

not that is isnt possible, but the gursikhs wudnt want to show it

but, i cud be wrong
