Does this really happen? :waheguru: My word. Proof if any was needed that this truly is the age of Kalyug.

Yeah loads at my local nagar keertan in Southall,im sure other Sikhs from Southall as well as Sevadars from Sikh Unit,Lion Hearts also know about how our own girls bring Muslims down to fight Sikh Boys ,and even smoke in Southall Park.Southall nagar kirtan is notorious for this kind of stuff, not to mention the illegal immigrants who are no less and whistle at girls who enjoy it.

The average SINGH has no respect from these girls let alone Sikhi or the Khalsa Panth

This is the kind of stuff that enrages me. I've not been to any of these Sikhi events since I was a teenager. I just pay my respects to Guru Granth Sahib Ji, listen to some paath or Gurbani before the crowds turn up, and I just go home or stay behind at the Gurudwara. I can't be around such people as they make a mockery of Sikhi.

Look at it this way - you've got the Panj Pyaare leading the procession at a Nagar Kirtan - then a few feet behind you've got these characters pulling these kind of stunts.

Yeah I feel the same just don't feel like going then its like a catch 22 situation ,your Guru is there and you want to be there but see all that, so yeah like you said pay your respects and go.If you stay ,ie Southall Nagar Kirtan a fight will kick off if you intervene in to any situation which is causing offence,boys/girls kissing, smoking or even inviting <banned word filter activated> to fight us on our Nagar kirtan.

But yeah that aside, what are our community leaders doing about it?Fighting elections, taking the opposition commitee to the high court like in Southall Gurdwara, while their daughters do the exact same - as in the video mentioned in this topic.

Sikh Youth need major reform in the UK their are 3 camps now,

* 1st type ,Ones who dont give a damn ,Gurdwara is a boring ritual and all they see is a pic of Guru Nanak,Nagar Kirtan is a day out to date, and eat food, club nights everyday, get drunk with all sorts, have a <banned word filter activated>,drugs maybe, they dont care about Sikh Panth or even Panjabiyat.Every Singh to them is a freshie or a sad religious looser who is an alien of sorts to them, can be seen to get Sikh guys attacked if they think that the Sikh guy is insulting them when really hes just trying to save them. This type easily hate on Sikhi, insult it and wont hesistae to even swear at their own families while running away with a non Sikh.

*Type 2 Think they're religious wear a Khanda and act all big on Vaisakhi ,and hype on about fights with <banned word filter activated> and so on,2 mins later either <banned word filter activated> in one hand or a bottle. The same type will claim Khalistan and yet wave India flags on cricket matches. - More Corrupt Panjabis than Sikhs

*Type 3 , Amritdharis,Non Amritdharis ie Moneh Sejhdhari, who want to do something for their community but are totally shunned by the 1st two types and taken for a joke by them.Their parents don't care about them nor do Gurdwaras, they are left to fend for themselves - through self discovery and while they can be western in ways always stick to their roots of Sikhi and want to learn more about their past - so they can help forward the panth.

A worrying trend I've seen develop over the past few years is how Baisakhi (or is it Vaisakhi?) is being commercialised almost into a 'Christmas' type festival. The spiritual and religious aspect is being diluted by the masses so that only the Gurudwaras really care about its religious significance, whilst people use it as an excuse for a party.

You've got Vaisakhi cards being handed out by some people who don't know or don't give a darn about what happened on that day in 1699. You've got people organising Vaisakhi parties where I doubt they sit around debating about the ethics and standards of the Khalsa - I guess these parties involve alcohol? I've never heard of one but I'm guessing there's such a thing as a 'Vaisakhi Gig' too? :6

watch part 2 (middle one) I respect the two girls for sticking to what they think is right, criticising the videos made infront of the same guy who makes them watch at 7:46 how that Jazz Virk looks at them

Yeah respect to them they are always respectful in all videos most recently KS Johals Mundeh Panjabi in which they are dressed in a proper salwar kameez with chunia ,a shame most girls dont want to be like that, and would rather be a beyonce wannabe

This is where punjabi culture gone bad. Show the skin, you get the access to the audience's pocket. Punjabi videos are worst than stupid rap videos.

Not the fault of any girls involved in such videos as they were never given any chance to know the true gem of sikhism.

Whether druggie babbu or director/singer making punjabi adult style song, They all are running behind for money.

absolutely sickening...

These our OUR sisters.. these our OUR daughters..The Daughters of the Punjab...

WE can sit here and say oh they not Sikh, they are stupid punjabi girls.. but seriously..

If you ask any gora, muslim hindu.. they will say these are SIKH Girls..

We need to stop brushing this issue under the table..

Who the f*** do these singers think they are parading our girls like cheap prostitutes???

Who The F*** does DAVINDER BAL think he is promoting Sikhi on one side and parading our girls like dirty prostitutes on the other channel??

If he didn't give these vids air time they would not be produced.. its supply demand..

Its about time Sikhs question the whole bhangra industry, hold these sell out scum accountable.

We do not want our daughters paraded like whores- it makes me sick

seriously singh's enough is enough..

@ SarabhaPunjab - I agree with your sentiments but surely the anger should be coming from our sisters too? If the men are the ones who highlight these issues everytime, we'll have anti-Sikh troublemakers comparing us to those Islamic groups who dictate everything to their women & oppress them. In this instance if our sisters have anything about them, they will make their voices heard.

Lol mother most certainly does NOT go to club and take jacket off.

And SIKH girls do not lie to their mothers to go clubbing. A sikh is truthful and tries their level best to stay away from bad sangat.

A SIKH does not brand a girl a 'slapper' but sees god inside every single human being, slandering a human is slandering god.

A sikh does not slander, gossip or make negative judgements/ comments about others.

A sikh is truthful, respectful and loving and meditates/ focuses on God and the Guru.

A sikhs destination is Sachkandh (if they have not already reached His court) and tries to get rid of the darkness and mental illness within, not feed it and make it stronger.

You are a sikh by choice, not just by birth.
