Corruption At Southall Gurdwara?

The history of the masand system, that was instigated by the 3rd mohalla is pertinent in my eyes. Look at how dasmesh pita didn't blink to reject the whole system when it became corrupt. This makes me wonder if having ANY permanently fixed, immutable system for running Gurdwaras is a good idea, as humans being what they are, always seem to eventually find a way to corrupt things.

Plus we have always flexibly reorganised to meet challenges like from jathas to misls, to dals etc. So whatever new way (or adoption of an older traditional method we adopt) should we not always be ready to scrap it if it ever becomes corrupted and beyond salvation like the masand system had become? So there is historical precendent.

These are just thoughts out loud, for intelligent discussion. No need for certain people to lose their minds and start frothing at the mouth over it please (you know who you are).

If you disagree with anything I've said, that's fine, just respond with intelligent comments please, not wild accusations and anger.

all the more we need to kick out the gora election system in our guru ghars and get back to our own system of panch amritdhari Gursikhs as managers- committee and all power-- any further expansion of seva to be nominated to a further 5 and stay within this system , it 's the only one which will work for us. It's a joke we have a gora system of elections which only divides and rules and nohting else since it's birth in our guru ghars

Also to contribute more to your valid point of 5 Gursikhs. In the time of Banda Singh Bahadur. The Panth was put in a situation by Banda Singh Bahadur where he thought, he was the power behind the success of the Khalsa Panth. So a dispute broke out on who will rule over Gurmat. Either it would be Bandia Panth or the Tat Khalsa. Remember Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj had left his worthly appearance at this point. So the Khalsa Panth came to a solution of taking Guru Sahib Hukam at Sri Harmandir Sahib and both sides agreed. On one piece of paper they wrote Bandia Panth and on the other they wrote Tat Khalsa and put the each of the piece of papers in the water. By the Hukam of Maharaj ji the Tat Khalsa piece stayed afloat and the Bandia Khalsa piece sunk to the bottom. And by this Hukam of Maharaj ji is that the Khalsa Panth prevailed. So it is pure ignorance to say the system was changed and any other system was taken. In war times the Khalsa Panth would take a Hukam from Maharaj and if Maharaj said Singho go and fight then the Khalsa took to their swords. If the order (Hukam) was not to fight then the sword was put down. Satguru ji and his Gursikhs kept the Hukams alive and always went to Guru Sahib to solve disputes.

There is no election ever taking place in the Khalsa Panth history, even after Satguru ji left his worldly appearance. The election system is without the Guru and anything that is without the Guru is manmat. Tat Khalsa and Bandia Khalsa could have taken votes. Afterall these Gursikhs were all about deomocracy, but they saw democracy in the true way of Sikhi. Take a Hukam and let Maharaj decide.

But the problem now with these young wanna be buff guys is that they think with their biceps and don't have any knowledge on Gurmat, even though they write millions of times on different issues.
