More people need to start taking amrit then in that case.

If they want to run a country that is gonna be the homelands of Sikhs, than they should take amrit and try to be good gursikhs. If they don't want to take amrit and still run the country, isn't it kindof pointless to have a Sikh homeland?

Loyal/patriotic mona will also be essential to the future security of a theoretical Khalistan. For the nation to survive it will need intelligence services to keep a check on potential attacks on the fledgling nation. Or else Indian and ISI type agents are likely to cause serious problems for it. Plus they can be useful in the state army too, we all know there are some tough monays out there with fighting spirit.

Amritdharis with dastaars can't do the intelligence job in most nations, plain and simple. You will need people who will be able to go into foreign countries and blend in and possibly spy. There is no way the nation could do without this - seeing as it WILL have a lot of powerful enemies who would want to destroy/destablise it from day one.

Plus I'd like to know what would the position of a citizen who wanted to convert to another religion be in a theoretical Khalistan? Say someone's kid wanted to convert to Buddhism? Would Khalistan be aggressively against this? Would people who were genuinely not religiously inclined be penalised or punished? Answers to such questions will play a part in determining how much additional support outside of the traditional hardcore, the notion of the state will get.

Why does it have to be called Khalistan why cant we call it Sikhistan so that all sikhs religious or not can be included, calling it khalistan wud kinda exclude sikh who arent amritdahris though i know it doesnt mean that but thats what sikhs will think.....if you understand where im coming from.

There is no such thing as non-religious Sikh. A Sikh is built on Sikhi.

The remark loyal mona.....what does that even mean?

Kids converting...thats a family matter based on the parents beliefs, like it is currently.

In my opinion purposely setting jobs up so a disguise is needed that goes against Gurmat, like a hair cut, is being selfish and directing a group in a wrong direction. A Khalsa state would not create such positions because the Khalsa teaching is to let everyone progress and not hold them back because some duties are to be filled that can be done in a different manner. Like Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj said. The rehat is more dear to me than the Sikh.

In past, getting khalistan was an external issue (Asking for our birth right country from outsiders rulers - India).. However, for the past few decades it seems to become an internal issue (Major portion of Punjabis in punjab doesn't favor that).

Yes, I am in total favor of Khalistan but requires major work in re-educating our brothers and sisters of sikhi so that they don't elect corrupts like badal and co etc..

Yeah this badal fellow also appointed a few people into a few seats somewhere in Amritsar...

In past, getting khalistan was an external issue, as all punjabis were asking for our birth right country from outsiders rulers - India.. However, for the past few decades it seems to become an internal issue (Major portion of Punjabis in punjab doesn't favor that anymore). No revolution can be won without people support.

After 1947, punjabi are reading over and over "How great ghandi was.." and they are total brainwashed after 6 decades of false history classes during their schooling time.. Ask any normal youth about Hari Singh Nalwa or about Kavi Santokh Singh or just ask them to name any takht's name... majority of them gives you .. "ummmm... pata nahey"

Perfect example is Afghanistan. In 70's it was perfect country; much better than India and Pakistan. Look at it now, america pumping billions of dollars, brought down taliban and been throwing sweet contracts to oppositions but still no hope because the current generation doesn't know what to do and how to live, run and maintain government. It will take decades for them to stand on and run their country like others do..

A simple message to foreign pumped/supported organization in punjab (political or social) to change your style. Stop jumping around and pls stop putting your pictures in newspaper and running like a w**** for a cheap publicity. Gather your guts, work on more reality based long term action plan. Stop pleasing few ppl via youtube videos or posting articles on cheap punjabi publishing newspapers. Worry about how to do sewa or bring change to the majority of drunken, spoiled punjabi residents of Punjab.

Well said.
