Congratulations Southall Sangat

I am writing to congratulate the Sangat of Southall. Through the actions and allegiances to certain people the current committee was elected by the Sangat and as the committee at Sri Guru Singh Sabha has been able to:

· Disrespect Gursikhs

· Support Anti Sikh views and actively promote their camps

· Have blacklisted people do Guru Sahibs katha and

· Openly state they want to close childrens Punjabi classes

Is this what the largest stage outside of India and Pakistan has become? The previous committee weren't angels but at least they had respect for all.

So once again congrats people, you have to live with this for 3 years

These guys were given time on the Sikh Channel to promote their campaigns for election. So if what you are saying is true, please gather all the evidence together and discusss this with Sikh Channel representatives. Because if what you are saying is true, the Sikh Channel have unknowingly supported Anti panthic individulas who they know must hold to account.

F Sohi & Malhi both are chors of the highest calibar and both commitees were and are working under the leadership of Indian Govt ,Southall Sikhs are a joke they voted in Virendra Sharma as MP even though a Sabat Soorat Sikh Sardar Gurcharan Singh stood for MP ,Sharma called Khalistanis terrorists in his campaign but this did not bother the Sikhs they still voted the Ex Overseas Congress President Sharma as MP

Virendara Sharma is a close ally of Himmat Sohi President Singh Sabha Southall - alongside all pro India Labour Party dogs in Southall who HATE the very notion of Sikh Freedom .Hindus were banned from voting in these elections as the constitution changed only allowing Sikhs Himmat and Sharma both opposed this but sangat power got this passed in the AGM.

Sohi came back due to MALH the club owning tycoon spliting his own party up by wanting more control his party split in to 3 one with Gurpreet Singh who went on to form the Sangat Party , then it was the elders President Didar Singh Randhawa and the others who Malhi swore at as he wasnt allowed in Commitee meetings and insulted they decided not to stand for election again - then it was the remainder of the origianl party with Malhi standing for President

Had Malhi not bullied and split apart the party he was leading maybe Sohi would not be in power - or the sangat should have just voted in sangat but they only got 300 votes those 300 determined the final outcome.

Malhi is pro India anyway he openly said on Sikh Chnl he would always salute the Indian Flag - Himmat Sohi had a field day laughing at Mahli lot when Harjit Singh Sarpanch - Sikh Fed Affiliate claimed the party was Panthic and worked to expose India Sohi goes what about when the Indian High Commisoner was called to Singh Sabha to be given a siropa on one hand they claim they are panthic on the other they call the Indian High commisioner ,Harjit Sarpanch then passed the question to Malhi who said he can never forget his 'motherland' India and said he would always salute the tiranga - Harjit Sarpanch did not know where to put his face lol I have the DVD of this debate which will be online soon - exposes both partys only the Sangat party came out good in the debate as they kept shut most of the time lol

There is talk of removing Sant Jis pic by Sohi n co hope this does not happen but in the end things will remain the same - if so called Panthic elements come back like last time they will be no better by implementing 2 different maryadas in both Gurdwaras - carrying out barsis and so on according to their jathabandia.Maryada wise everything is fine and secure like an iron fist under Himmat Sohi and the Baaj Party but its no better than Malhi lot Panthic Wise , Indian Govt has control over both parties ,its just that the Malhi party has slight Panthic elements 1/2 people but then you also have those 'Jathebandia' people who are also working for their own deras/indian govt and so on .

The voting system is the downfall of the Gurdwara System.

How can voting work in an area like southall, where Panthic soch people are a tiny minority, Congressis and sharabis make up the majority?...

Same with Dudley, ask the Gurdwara goers if you want to party and drink, they say yes.. what do you do then?

The voting system itself is anti-gurmat. But I am not sure how any Alternatives would work. The majority of the most productive Jathebandhi's will have a Mahapursh or a leader figure. This works well, until leader-ship is passed on, then the inevitable power-struggle, break-aways, feuds etc...

We need sit down and work out a method to maximize the authority of Sri Akal Thakt Sahib , reduce the power of committee's.

We waste time debating AV voting for UK Government. We need to implement a Gurmat inclined system in our Gurdwara Sahibs.

Gurdwarae with a lot less charava/ mi-a have achived more than the £18m building in Southall. The only good thing to have come from Southall is the Primary School and even that at £11m is massive.

The accounts, selection and management of suppliers is not transparent -all we see are basic balance sheet/ P&L (local accountant stamped for 'authenticity') type sheets on the notice board or the guy on stage giving a 2 minute rapid up-date on funds.

There has to be a radical overhaul of how Gurdwara committee members are selected and ASSESSED !

How can Sohi be a custodian of the largest Gurdwara outside of India when his own family members (sons and nephews) have been done for bankrupting pubs, fighting/ brawling and getting drunk. Sohi is a poor father figure to his own blood and disillisioned incestous family members. Sohi sahib, you may talk a great story but you could/ can do a lot better. Because of the election debacle in 2006 and 2008 in Southhall, no one really bothered in 2010. Sohi, get your house in order before you 'attempt' to lead the largest Gurdwara outside of India !

The greatest thing in recent years at Havelock Road has been the Gatka and Punjabi classes (by the Lion Party).
