The biggest Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall - New Commitee led by Himmat Sohi has catergorically stated they will not provide any coaches for the 1984 rally - this is a stain on the UK Sikh Community

Instead Dal Khalsa UK will provide coaches for all the sangat

Double the coaches to Southall gurdwara and make sure we get some banners up representing Southall gurdwara in its full capacity showing the voters in the next election how the youth had to take the reigns from Sohi perhaps we should ask the committee who stood against him to arrange the coaches it will do wonders for their votes in the next election campaign when people realise Sohi didnt want to raise a voice for the biggest Sikh march in the history of the UK.

Hopefully they wont call the Police like 3 yrs ago to 'complain' regardless if they do this will not stop the sangat,no member of the sangat will be left behind, this new commitee is BESHARAM

Mann accused of distributing pamphlets on Khalistan; probe on

The Sirmour district police have ordered an inquiry into the allegations against Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (Amritsar) chief and former MP Simranjit Singh Mann that he distributed pamphlets in support of the Khalistan movement outside Gurdwara Paonta Sahib on Wednesday. According to reports, Mann, who was on his way to Amritsar from Dehradun, spent three hours in the gurdwara and distributed the pamphlets, carrying the photograph of Bhindarnwale, among the people present there.

Sirmour SP Puneeta Bhardwaj said she had ordered an inquiry and action was being taken. Deputy Commissioner Meera Mohanti said the DSP had been asked to collect the pamphlets and register a case against Mann.

It's really up to each of us to ensure we are able to use the June 5th Rally as leverage...and the only way that will happen is through mass attendance.

In terms of covering costs of coaches, if the Gurdwara Committee refuse to fund a coach then it's a modest cost that has to be picked up the sangat. We can't keep letting the lack of Committee support act as a "bottleneck" or even brick wall in taking the vital sewas forward.

Each one of us is a parcharak and we have to seriously get out of our comfort zones to realise that we must rise up to that role. Khalistan can be intelligently and articulately discussed in all our parchaar, there is no reason to shy away from the right to bring positive changes into Punjab and to safeguard Akal Takht Maryada. How long can we let the stigmas of Self-Rule drag our own self-esteem down and use it to doubt our kaum's capability to govern a country! The Freedom Rally gives us the opportunity to feel united and focused on a long term politcal plan, it also acts as a revolutionary message to the agencies in India that there is a revival in opposition against their campaign of Sikh cleansing which is still taking place India.

Don't forget everyone. Whether you are an Amritdhari or not.. wear an Orange Dastaar on the 5th June.

Don't forget to buy a KHALISTAN tea shirt too, and wear it on the day (it will raise money to help those widowed and ophaned, or falsely imprisoned since 1984).

If 100,000+ Sikhs can make it to the Southall Nagar Kirtan, and a 100,000 Sikhs can make it to the Birmingham Fair, Then surely, if we feel 'anything' for the innocent babies, children, women and men who were murdered in 1984, a 125,000 of us from all over the UK will make it to London on the 5th of June. If we don't feel anything for those who were murdered, raped, tortured, orphaned, and those falsely imprisoned, then we are dead inside, and if we don't make it to the march, then we are just plain idle and selfish!!

Tell every Sikh you meet, that, "only animals forget their dead, humans honour their shaheeds".

America has it's independence day on the 4th June! The Sikhs independence day will start of the 5th June!!!!
