monitor what your kids go on the computer...have passwords to all their social networking profiles....check the messages ont heir phone at the end of each day...if they have deleted the history from their computers or have deleted messages from their phone (you will know) then ask them why and punish them for it..you want transparency...if your kids are hiding something from you..then be worried...

Children don't need over controlling parents but they also don't need parents who let them go out and socialise with whoever they wish to. Maintaining a strong trust relationship is the best option as the children will feel guilty when doing something irresponsible. Sitting down and talking about these issues with your children is one good way of fighting a situation.

Well man I am in US right now.. I can talk about USA but not Europe ( England) but from my own observation...yes European Pakistani community do have MORE 'idiots' among them than say American Pakistani community. Also , many of these guys are straight up CRIMINALS ! They do drug business , gangs etc and use girls . . . And parents of most of these idiots won't even have ANY idea about the stuff their kid is doing. Its only when they get caught by police ...then the poor parents come to know about what their son was doing.

Also it says conversion...I am guessing that it is referring to conversions of Sikh girls after they marry to Muslim guys...but have you wondered by Pakistan Muslims guys 'trap' Sikh Kaurs ?...Don't take any offense bro..but Muslims(Pakistani) guys ARE more respectful,caring and kind towards girls than many of my Sikhs brothers. Most of my Sikh bros 'compete' with one another about who is a bigger 'player' (not saying ALL Sikhs bros are like that but in my personal observation..this thing is more common among Sikh bros than Pakistanis ..atleast Pakistanis don't say that loudly and feel proud that they are a 'player' and had millions girlfriends) .. In such scenrio , many Sikh girls get attracted towards Pakistani guys who treat them like real princesses (kaurs) and this is where these Pakistani criminal-minded people target Sikh girls and easily win their heat to 'convert' them.

Also it should be noted that if any Pakistani guy is trying to win a heart of a Sikh girl...it doesn't always mean that he want to 'convert' her. Most of the times , its actual crush ('love' would be too heavy word to use here lol) .... But again I can only talk about America...don't know much about England

No. Our Pakistani Punjabi, Pathan, Sindi, Baluchi community is exactly the same as yours. The only difference is that 75% of England's Pakistanis are Mirpuris whereas hardly 1% of America's and Canada's Pakistanis are Mirpuri. It doesn't matter where the Mirpuri is. Thats his nature. The rest of Pakiostan also sees him as a criminal etc.

Substitute the word 'muslim for 'christian' however, and the situation is actually far far worse in America and Canada. We don't have christians converting sikhs. We don't have hundreds of punjabi christian churches all over the place. We don't have our sikh girls marrying christians, becoming christians and bringing their kids up as christians at the level common in your part of the world.

The problem with sikh girls and muslims in the uk is tiny tiny tiny compared with the massive problem of sikh girls and christians in America / Canada.

Well, actually the problem here in North America is no way like in the UK.

We don't have a christian/sikh conversion issue like the musli/sikh conversion in UK.

I know this too well as I was born and bred UK and moved to US then Canada 3 years ago.

Here it seems to be more talk...... If a single conversion makes sikh news in a city, soon it becomes talk for thousands and thousands of miles... from New York to LA, from Toronto to Vancouver.thats about 2.5 thousand miles!!!

In UK it travels only 300miles from north to south.

We also have to remember that in North America we have 5000 gora sikhs. Most of these are here due to conversion, the figures of sikhs converting to christians could never be that high.

The problems that sikh youth face with muslim youth in UK is tremendous and shocking.

Here we can't even call it a problem as numbers of pakistani muslims is a lot lower per punjabi sikhs.
