In some ways I feel proud that Sikh saroop is shown in such a positive way and yet I feel disheartened that the saroop could be "sold".

Might not be a bad thing. Back in the swinging 60's the pug dari was seen as quite an appealing exotic look.

Might just push our bandana/patka munday to start wearing a dastaar as it's now "fashionable".

WOAHH!! uno what i think its actuli good that designers are thinking about the sikh history and their identity... its does show that its not all money logged in their brain.... but also at the same time there is a question of the turban being sold off and stuff like that... but i think we should think about the good side of things.. maybe people will actually take more of an intrest in sikhi culture becuase nowadays people ahve idols liek music stars and desingers....so lets hope that this doesnt backfire

Also, this shows that you can look good with dastaar and beard --- you just have to hit the gym and get all hirsute! Those soft stomachs need to go! Of course I'm not suggesting we get wrapped up in something as shallow as appearances.
