Just as millions of sparks are created from the fire; although they are different entities, they merge in the same fire.

Just as from of waves are created on the surface of the big rivers and all the waves are called water.

ਜੈਸੇ ਏਕ ਨਦ ਤੇ ਤੰਰਗ ਕੋਟਿ ਉਪਜਤ ਹੈਂ ਪਾਨਿ ਕੇ ਤਰੰਗ ਸਬੈ ਪਾਨਿ ਹੀ ਕਹਾਹਿਂਗੇ ॥

Similarly the animate and inanimate objects come out of the Supreme Lord; having been created from the same Lord, they merge in the same Lord. 17.87.

Beauty fades away, islands fade away, the sun, moon, stars and sky fade away.

The earth, mountains, forests and lands fade away.

Like the bucket tied to the rope in the well, you are pulled up to the Akaashic Ethers, and then lowered down to the nether regions of the underworld. ||6||

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, thus potential difference of earth is zero

ਨ ਘਾਟ ਹੈ ਨ ਬਾਢ ਹੈ ਨ ਘਾਟ ਬਾਢ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ॥

Which neither decreases nor increases in any being, It never decreases or increases.

like the earth, which is dug up by one, and anointed with sandal paste by another.

Energy transfer: Grass has energy, eaten by cattle, then energy goes to milk, and from milk finally into butter.

ਸਗਲ ਬਨਸਪਤਿ ਮਹਿ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੁ ਸਗਲ ਦੂਧ ਮਹਿ ਘੀਆ ॥

Fire is contained in all firewood, and butter is contained in all milk.

ਊਚ ਨੀਚ ਮਹਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਮਾਧਉ ਜੀਆ ॥੧॥

God's Light is contained in the high and the low; the Lord is in the hearts of all beings. ||1||

These are just minor translations done by certain hardworking individuals as a devoted effort to assist the masses in understanding the interpretations of Gurbani. However, at times they do not do complete justice to the gems and priceless secrets of knowledge that Gurbani contains. A lot of further extensive study and research needs to be done, and what I have presented here is only the tip of the iceberg. I came across several other references towards scientific facts that the Guru Sahibaan blessed us with centuries ago and which science is discovering only today. Indeed, Sikhi doesn't need to be consistent with science, but in fact science today is attempting to be in accordance with Gurbani.

I think they refer more to the reincarnations than the Darwin's theory of evolution. The evolution theory in simple words is how very simple molecular structures got evolved to become complex organisms like humans and animals etc.

Possible, or maybe in the context of this Shabad Guru Sahib is referring to how the soul transmigrates through the 84 million species which Darwin stated as "evolution" ?

Erm...Nahi Bhaji...I think Darwin is mostly talking about the chemical and physical aspect of 'Evolution'.

the uy in te video is using fallaces. he talks about big bang and iflation bein mutually exclusive, when they are totally not. inflation is a part of the big bang. and throughout, he uses bani to back up points that can be broken down. which will lead people to say, this threfore means gurbani was rong in saying such and such.

and then he mis uses sache te pavana bhaya. saying a chemical reaction gives of gasses. just wrong use totally. its (many) times i this video, where this is a perfect example showing how he uses gurbani to support his own conclusions. all a person needs to do is give one of the many many reactions that dont produce gas. thus disproving his point, and s called, dis-proving gurbani.. and gurbani cannot be dispoved. !

then he says, we dont know how old the universes. corse we do!

then he says about grbani saying before the sun and the moon, there was no tim.. when scienc and us, both kno that there were!

then he uses ki janam bhae keet paanga to make the outragous totally outlandish point, "evolution is in gurbani because look, guru G says we have re incarnated so many times." this is utter misuse.!. just because our guru says we have reincarnation, doesnt prove flipin evolution.

and the post made after this video, also a misuse.

then he talks about the bigcrunch. laughable. (sorry to say). u cant have inflation be true, as well as big crunch. accelleration of universe. B-/

I noticed that as well Alias, but it wasn't bad. It was his perspective.

I prefer Sant Singh Maskeen's views though in this particular case because it focuses solely on Gurbani. Just merely repeating Gurbani is enough to show that the big bang theory (which only provides a very partial explanation) is scratching the surface of what Guru Nanak Dev Ji has told.
